I visited Ordrupgaard yesterday. It was beautiful! The architecture, the garden, the art, the food, Finn Juhls house and the weather was perfect! A great day and I will return when they have other exhibitions.

It's surprising that your summer was chilly, ours have been warm and lacking the cool days that we normally at least sometimes have. And our countries are so close.

I know! This summer has been so weird!... I even had to lit the fireplace from time to time, so peculiar.

Normally we would have had shorter or longer periods with pleasantly warm weather, separated by some more rainy and chilly days.

This summer everything was upside down, chilly days separated by some few and rare warm days. 😆🌻

And lots and lots of aurora borealis!

Just finding this thread, I feel like I traveled the country wo leaving my deck. Second summer here, it is a thing. 90 today, cooling front takes it to 82 tomorrow. Will be ok, I have a cooling option

I like your cooling option, quite a lot. ☺️

The weather is truly peculiar here... I think, next week might very well become much warmer than any week has been during the summer period. 😅

But, we will see. After all, I did not even pack away my winter jacket when spring started, the need for warm jackets just did not stop long enough, for it to make sense to store the winter clothes away.

Yes, this summer has been strange. A hot day here and there and the rest have been.......well, best put is probably meh. But the last week have been even more strange. 31°C was a all time high here. It has never been so hot so late in the year. And next week will also be quite warm.
But if it wasn't for the nature taking a beating from this, I'd enjoy the summer to stay a few weeks more. Me and my body likes the warm weather. It's just my skin that disapprove, so I have to use sunscreen.

Åh... Næste weekend? Altså selvfølgelig har jeg masser af forslag. 😉

- jeg summer lige og får lavet en kort og hyggelig liste over steder. (Det er jo uge 7, skolernes vinterferie, så hele familien er i skoven 🌲🌲🌲 og, endnu vigtigere..jeg ved ikke helt hvornår vi (jeg) er tilbage i byen! 🤞🏻 For at vi kan nå at sige hej til hinanden!)
