My alien shape shifter idea.

Aliens have been studying earth for centuries, but because the reproduce asexually they have never thought that human sexuality may be as important as all of the other aspects of human behavior they had been studying. They realize they must understand this also and send shape shifting operatives to investigate. They are not only able to look and act human, they intuit what humans want and fit their appearance and demeanor to be most attractive to any human.

Our MMC chosen because he gets more than his fair share of sex due to his appearance and charm. Our FMC is an alien that fits his idea of the perfect woman, physically, mentally, and sexually. He knows her mission, but accepts it. (I am playing with the why in this. Currently thinking the aliens save him from sure death and he is grateful, plus the FMC is so hot he is willing to do almost anything.) They engage in numerous exploits for her edification, and he enjoys a rich, risk free, frolic into the depths of fantasy and debauchery.

I think there are many possibilities with this scenario. Exploring every kink and desire.

I would love to hear any thoughts, criticisms, or ideas.

What do you think the aliens' end goal is? Making peaceful first contact? Invading and subjugating? Staying hidden and just observing? I think their purpose would have a big effect on what they're doing and how they're doing it.

Good question.
I have them staying hidden and observing. Basically they view earth as sort of an uncontacted culture analogous to an Amazon tribe to us. The aliens are a very advanced culture and are therefore benevolent and only want to learn more about such a strange and unevolved species.

I have to look at it that way or the story would not be fun for me.

I tried to be brief in my story idea, but that is an essential foundation, thanks.

That concept also makes it easier for our mMC to have knowledge of them yet still be willing to be her 'beard'. How exactly he is convinced is something I am still working out.

I want the MCs to truly like and enjoy each other, to be willing and eager partners in the lascivious explorations. She will gain incites beyond what she is tasked with reporting, and begins to care about the him, and the primitive species. Experiencing pleasurable sex for the first time is intoxicating for her, and understandably influences her methods of investigation. He, of course, is just happy to be having such a good fucking time, but is also drawn to her, she is superior, sexy, and... well... her intellect is off the charts.

You can create a nice contrast with her being superior/more advanced in many ways, but entirely innocent and clueless about sex.

I would probably let the male main character be less physically attractive though - she wouldn't have the same criteria for assessing this as humans do, and it makes for a male character that's easier for readers to identify with. You just need another reason for the aliens to pick him.. (maybe they think he must be an expert because he watches a lot of porn , or maybe they have hacked some databases and found that his genetic makeup is unique in some desirable way).

Nice, it could be an opening for some levity as well.

Please don't hold your breath. I got a couple on Lit years ago and they are pretty lame. I am not sure I have the discipline to write well enough for public consumption. But I have some time on my hands so I will keep plugging.

My mMC will be a studious nerd in college, not good with the ladies. The aliens mistake his vibrant fantasy and on line life with someone that is adventurous and experienced. He is pretty good looking, in shape, and clean, he just lacks confidence. I have him traveling to a new job across the country before he ends up meeting his ideal woman, the alien, the fMC. Their journey to sexual discovery entails many of his fantasies and she embues him with the confidence he so sorely needs.

You may have missed that they realized they had not studied human sexuality because they are asexual and never thought it was important. They had already studied most everything else about human behavior before they understood the importance. Now they are making an effort to understand.

I've found this thread while writing my On The Job challenge entry, and was quite amused by the timing. The story I submitted is very much in the area of "aliens confused / intrigued by human sexuality", so I feel perfectly justified presenting it to everyone's perusal here:
