Official Crime and Punishment 2025 Story Event Support Thread

We all enjoy a good heist story, a murder mystery, a detective novel, a courtroom drama, police procedural, or even a prison romance. Throw in a healthy dose of eroticism and you have the Third Annual Literotica Author's Crime and Punishment Story Event. Bust out your sexiest femme fatale, your hard-drinking detective, your beleaguered public defender, your hit man, enforcer, silver-tongued con artist, drug lord, mafioso, pickpocket or prison yard enforcer and turn them loose on the Literotica Readership.

Stories are to be submitted between September 8, 2025 and September 19, 2025, with a posting date of September 22, 2025.

This event is open to all Literotica authors, whether you it's your first story or five thousandth. All categories are open. The only requirement is that the story must involve a crime, whether it is the planning, commission, investigation, prosecution, or punishment. The only caveat is that while incest and non-consent stories often describe events which would be considered criminal in some jurisdictions, they do not qualify for this event. In other words, a story with incestuous sibling would not qualify, but a story where incestuous siblings commit a bank robbery would qualify.

2. Include the text "CRIME AND PUNISHMENT 2025" in the Note to Admin-field. I recommend that you copy and paste the phrase into the box.
3. Submit your story between September 8 and September 19 2025.

September, you say? I suppose if I conceive an idea now, it may gestate and be ready to be born by then...

I did legal thriller (meets BDSM and fucking in Parliament) in 2023 and police procedural from the guilty arrestee's POV in 2024, both of which I think worked out pretty well and it was fun trying something new. Maybe some Spillane or heist/spy/shootemup type thriller? Been watching Black Doves with Ben Whishaw and Keira Knightley. It's flawed but a lot of fun, and has some inspiring ideas to play with.

Crime and Punishment with a side of steamy? Count me in. This event sounds like the perfect excuse to write about a heist gone hilariously wrong or a detective who’s way too hot for their own good. Time to dust off my femme fatale and get plotting!

Wrote down a quick idea that appeared as I read the thread. A a female FBI agent and a female vittness to a cartell crime hides out in suburbia while waiting for the trial. Will they manage to stay under the radar or is the vittness a little too hot for her FBI protector?

My 2024 entry, A Game Of Snooker, is currently my highest ranked story in terms of number of votes, views, comments, and percentile score within its category (it’s in Loving Wives so the absolute score is not as high). At the end of the story and having disposed of her cheating husband and ’sanitised’ his crime gang in Melbourne, the heroine invites her artist lover to join her in a move back to Sydney where she grew up. He has already been spending time up there, doing society painting commissions obtained through her mother’s connections.

So I’m thinking about a sequel. He has access to the lives and homes of the wealthy through his painting. She has skills and society connections. They’re making a fresh start. There should be enough material in that, and preferably not for LW but in a happier category but where some of that audience is going to follow the story. I just need to nail the blackened soul of Sydney somehow in the storyline (suggestions welcome).

I am considering a young accountant fresh from school is blackmailed by her manager. Of course with a few naughty twists and turns but a more mature female comes to her rescue. She is … well I don’t want to give it away

So do I go my standard, Lesbian or Mature but explain it is Sapphic, or do I flip the whole idea, not necessarily to get more readers but do I potentially even go Nonconsent as all sexes have yet to be determined.

I know thropples/ trios don’t play well on Lit but I am considering a third lover. It’s a one day dream / fantasy of mine.

Any thoughts?

Oh goodness! You just took my brain in six different directions. I see the potential perfect Group Sex if you added a client during the heist, I see the possibility of a Non-Consensual engagement during the heist. Goodness it seems you have a phenomenal base for an excellent stroy.

It depends on the actual story, is my thought. What impression would a reader take away from the story after finishing it? Is it a Lesbian affair, started by the rescue plot? Is it the protagonist being forced, then rescued? Is it about how she comes to appreciate an older lover, specifically because she likes the maturity and stability of the rescuer?

If you have any, the beta readers might be the ones to ask.

Afterthought: could it be Romance? Do the accountant and the mature lady end up in a long-term relationship?

Thanks for the ideas! A key point in the first story was that the heroine (with assistance from her lover) managed to dispose of her husband, his lover, and his cousin (and her rival for control) without being suspected of having engineered things. I like the idea of them doing that again, having fun (which could be Group Sex) while either thwarting crime or performing crime. They could have several encounters in various styles along the way. Hmm... will think on this.

On your idea for your story - overcoming a more senior blackmailer with the help of a mature friend is a strong setup and will have lots of readers barracking for / rooting for / cheering for (sorry not sure what they say in Ulster ) the MC. I think it's a good idea to develop the main characters and the plot and let them do what comes naturally along the way, then decide the category. In my most recent story I decided that the MC wasn't going to have sex with anybody (other than herself) and so far nobody's complained!
