Can the person on the other end see your details (phone number) etc?
And if you delete the convo can they still keep it?
Also any bad experiences with Skype?

1. Not sure. Does a computer have a number? A cell phone is now also a computer. I don't know how it works when you use it on a cell phone, but I bet it's still using the wifi connection so unless you put your phone number in your Skype profile I think the answer is no.

2. Yes. If you are both recording it. Or are you talking about the chat feature. For chat you each have a copy of that.

3. None. I have in the past used Skype to talk to people all over the world, no problems. The only knew what I wanted them to know, although you do have a profile they can see.

This was how it worked about a decade ago, it's been that long since I've used it and then I used it on a desktop computer.

Not for me, since I reserve Skype for friends and relatives. But......I have met others in chat rooms who have had their Skype sessions recorded and then pop up on various porn sites. Be careful out there!

Can the person hack? Even at a basic level. If yes, then yes. They can see info like ISP address and your computer's MAC address.but then they can do it here as well.

What you send can be kept indefinitely, no matter what you do.

No one is going to pay to see me,so I have not. You can be recorded. I have taken screen shots, but those were kept for me. I also let the person know. If I were to be asked to delete the shots, I would. Not everyone is the same way.

What are you talking about?

Between you and the other person there are three, maybe four pieces of equipment that stop the data from being transmitted. Even if you could execute a sniffer, the only IP Address it will get is that of your modem. Plus, do you know how many connections are happening on the Skype servers? Millions.

Trying finding one connection to the person you are talking to in that mess.

I could give you my IP Address and you wouldn't be able to connect to my computer.

Quit trying to scare people, especially when you haven't a clue what you're talking about.

Oh, here's my IP Address just for you - 192.168.1.65 - good luck with that.

Of course anyone who has a linksys router will have that IP Address.
