I forgot to tell you!

MrSB got the microwave fixed. There are 9 screws in the back. 7 are phillips and 2 are weird. Star shaped which we had a bit for. BUT, a metal point in the middle that prevented the typical star-shaped bit from fitting in the hole. So, then it became a contest of wills. lol MrSB vs GE. He won! Got some vice grips and was able to grip the screw and turn it.

Yesterday, I walked into the garage and stepped on a cactus spike. Yikes, that hurt! I tried to gently pull it out and no go, hurt too much. So I took a big breath and yanked. Damn! Not only are these needle sharp, they have barbs.

Here are pics of the above.

Ouch! Looks nasty. Hope your foot is ok. Did it damage the black sock?;)

Congratulations on the battle of wills...

Not too many cactus spikes where I come from, it looks so pretty, although I bet that was not your first thought when you were harpooned by it.

Wet shirts are always a turn on, and even more so with you inside.

Typical manufacturers of electrical goods, always add one or two 'security' screws to stop the average person opening them in the hope you will pay a service engineer. The only real danger in messing with microwaves is if you touch anything around the main power source, there is enough stored energy to kill.

Hi everyone!

Well, it was interesting at the contact lens appt. I wore a lens till a little bit ago and well, it's going to take some getting used to. I do have a mild astigmatism so he's ordering a lens for that which costs double. Of course. Why doesn't that surprise me? lol

I did ok until I got on the computer. It was not easy reading. I'll keep trying and hope my brain kicks in and stops my eyes from fighting.

I gave Missy IV fluids this morning. I'm not sure who was more traumatized...her or me. It was awful. The needle is HUGE! 18 gauge. I sat on the sofa and had her on my lap. I got it in ok but as MrSB let the clamp go, the saline must have been cold (room temp) and she freaked out. I had to hold her down and I'm sure the needle hurt every time she tried to move. When we finished, I pulled the needle out and forgot to shut the clamp and it's squirting everywhere and she's freaking out trying to get out of my arms. MrSB took care of the bag and I tried to hold her. I had to put pressure on the spot so it didn't leak out. It was 200mls which is almost 7 ozs. She finally had enough and jumped out of my arms. She ran to eat some food and looked like a football player with pads. lol poor thing. Then she went to the litter box and wouldn't get out. I had to lift her out. She's been laying on our bed all afternoon.

Lessons learned:
Don't administer the fluids where she sleeps or where her comfort place is.
Warm the liquids to around body temp.
Get a better position so I can hold her easier than I did today.

It was an eventful day!!!

UglyJoeSmith.....My foot is ok. I threw the pair of socks away. Sometimes, the cactus barbs break off and stay. Not taking any chances.

Ohverbatum.... Wow! That sucks! That reminded me that one time some black rubber or silicone tips on that bottom of a Kitchenaid gas stovetop grid needed to be replaced. KitchenAid didn't sell the tips and said I could buy a whole cast iron grid for $125. Solution? Trip to Ace Hardware and bought some black tips.

Hamster... The bulb with the base from GE was $25. I found it on Amazon for $17 and sold by GE. Go figure.

These pics are still from vacation. I got MrSB in the pics too! I don't think I'd be brave enough to wear it out here.

Sexy looking dress SB, and no panties!
In UK we call that a pond yacht, and yours is a stunning example.

Good morning!

Photobuff.... I have been to Rocky Point quite a few years ago. I do have friends that love to go for weekends. MrSB and I talk about it but never seem to make it there. Who is the band? Bad Sneakers is a local band that plays Steely Dan music. They are incredible. All professional musicians that get together occasionally for fun.

Lit peeps....Rocky Point is in Mexico about 3.5 hours from PHoenix, on the Sea of Cortez and quite beautiful.

....may I join you?

I have errands to run, a contact lens fitting and then a massage! I'm going to try one lens for reading.

My photos that the photographer took are framed and ready! I'm excited to see them! It will be strange hanging nudes in my bedroom but kind of cool at the same time!

I thought that a wet tank top in the bathtub would be fun.....

Hi everyone!

It was gorgeous today!

The waste management open is here and what a clusterfuck. I hate the traffic!!! I will be glad when it's over!

What a busy day! I organized and cleaned the garage which is one of my favorite things to do. Seriously. We don't have basements so we have garage cabinets. One is for my stuff. lol ok, I have more than one, but this is my catchall cabinet. There are before and after photos. I used to spend hours hosing out the garage but last spring we did the epoxy floor thing.

lol... a large gecko got stuck in the epoxy after we finished pouring it and was there for hours. We couldn't walk on it so couldn't get to him and thought he'd die. 10 hours later he's still alive. Using Vaseline and a q-tip, we were able to free him. His imprint is still in the epoxy! Glad I was able to save him and love the imprint!

Then I swept, vacuumed and mopped the floor. You have no idea how much I LOVE a clean and organized garage! No joke!

Then MrSB and I went out to trim the lime tree. Unbelievably we found 2 limes. After we were done and I wanted to relax with a gin and tonic, I rolled one of the limes to loosen the membranes. The oil that came out of the lime was amazingly fragrant and abundant! The shine on the lime in the photo is the oil I released.

I have 5 fairly large (for AZ) tomatoes on my tomato plant!

Then I finally relaxed with MrSB and enjoyed a cocktail!

Superbowl tomorrow. UglyJoe...get ready to take a pic!

There are photos of everything!

Sorry, I look terrible cause I was working!

Terrible? No, you look lovely in every one of them. I love the casual "I'm in the middle of something but I'll take a quick picture anyway" photos.

As far as the garage is concerned, well, if mine looked a fraction as good as the "before" picture I'd be happy.

I would be happy with your before photo, the cupboard looks tidier than after I cleaned. A family of four could move into your garage and have a better life than many, but don't have nightmares over my flight of fancy.
I like your dress code for cleaning, and then straight into the shower afterwards, how lucky your Mr SB is, with someone who displays her tits at the first opportunity.
