It has been 10 years since the last Survivor competition was held here on the site. I fondly remember pushing myself to write stories outside my comfort genres. While some might have viewed it as a competition, I saw it as a tool to inspire myself—a little gamification of my then-emerging erotic writing.
In celebration of Boxlicker101’s valiant effort, I wanted to resurrect this year-long event and invite you all to participate. It’s a celebration of the community here and a reminder that, without enthusiasts like Boxlicker101, this would be a much duller place.
Enough rambling, let me explain what Survivor 25 is. It’s a year-long journey where you earn points for publishing stories in as many genres as possible. The event tracks your participation here on Literotica, and by submitting stories and taking part in thematic competitions, you can earn points.
You are responsible for keeping your scorecard up to date. If you have any questions, please use this thread or DM me directly, and I’ll do my best to help.
The scoreboard for the event can be found [here].
Official rules for the unofficial Survivor 25
* You can join at any time by replying to this thread and announcing your intention to participate. Then copy the blank scoreboard and create a thread with the name ’Survivor 25 Scoreboard - yourusername’ and paste that into it.
* The objective is to write as many new and original stories as possible, in as many different genres as you can, here on Literotica. The writer with the most points at the end will be declared the winner and earn the praise of everyone who participated, as well as those who enjoyed all the stories written.
* All regular Literotica submission rules apply. When discussing times and deadlines, it’s the date of publishing that counts, so plan accordingly.
* As indicated on the scorecard, you will earn points for submitting stories. Caps (limits) for each category are in place to encourage you to explore new genres before continuing in your more familiar ones. To progress beyond a Cap you need to have published a story in each literotica category.
* There is also something called Immunities that you can use to clear genres you don’t wish to write in. These count as if you had published a story in that genre, allowing you to bypass its cap. For more details on how Immunities work, see below.
As it said above, to progress beyond a category cap, you must publish a story in every genre first—or use an Immunity to clear the unused categories.
Bonus categories
Since audio and illustrations are technical obstacles outside of the writing I have decided that these are bonus categories and doesn’t count toward ”completing” all the categories for a new level. Chain stories are also granted this bonus status since it is a category that is somewhat outside of the regular literotica genres. The interactive stories have also been added to the bonus list. So you don't have to pubslish or immunize yourself against these genres to progress beyond a Cap.

Immunities
An Immunity is a tool you can use to clear a category. When used, it fills the category to the next cap, making it count as though you had written stories to reach that point. The caveat is that no points are awarded. However, you can take a category you don’t want to write stories in off the board entirely.
At the end of each month, starting from the month you join, you will receive 1 free Immunity that can be used to “clear” a category. Additionally, for every 10 points you earn through writing, you will gain another Immunity. Below, I will do my best to summarize each participant’s Immunity score on the board, but feel free to correct me via a direct PM.
This is innactive due to technical difficulties at the moment
There is also a third way to earn an Immunity: the Bingo method. I’ve created a bingo card for the Survivor 25 journey (linked here). If you manage to clear a row, DM me, and I’ll award you an Immunity for your valiant effort.
As December approaches, there will be an audit of used Immunities to ensure we end the journey with everything accounted for.
