White women tears at the 2024 Olympics

While the Olympics was playing I corrected several people face to face when the subject of women's boxing has come up "Oh, that bloke who hit a woman" and "She ain't a woman - she's trans ain't ... it?"

When I read that JK Rowling and Elon Musk will face legal action for online hatred, I thought it a worthy but hopeless case. Then I read this article today that further reveals how feminism is for white women and that their tears are more valuable.

I'm glad someone has stood up and asked white feminists these awkward questions. In sport if you don't look like a white woman then you're either a man, or trans, or some kind of non-human beast. Online slurs are already common parlance as men squint their eyes at someone out of earshot and snigger "You sure that's a woman?"

I think people like JKR and musk realize if they say something often enough and loud enough it doesn't matter if it is true. The controversy here was an easy mark for them to jump into and incite their followers.
I would guess they don't care about any collateral damage, as in to Imane Khelif at all.
Also how to stop this kind of incitement? For most, a court judgement and monetary fine would probably be a good start, but when it is against such unbelievably rich people I doubt they will notice it at all. That leaves jail time perhaps.....but we all know that would never ever happen to two rich white folks.......

So very true!!! I've found myself leaving or not hanging out on some of the platforms I used to live at because of the discrimination against "other" folks, the queer, poc, and disadvantaged.

The way to stop the incitement would be for the Olympic organization to a) have clear rules on participation and b) communicate those clear rules when they come into question. The olympic organization utterly failed Imane in regards to b), allowing this 'controversy' to fester.

I've not met her yet, but racing driver Charlie Martin has always been an advocate for trans in sports. I missed her facing off against notorious anti-trans UK swimmer Sharrron Davies in a radio show... it would only have made me angry, but thanks again, Charlie x
