Well I tried to start another thread; hell it wasn't even 12 hours old and it has already been deleted. It was meant to be a fun thread for all lovers of the male body to congregate and a place for men to show off

I have no idea why it's gone though.(And I doubt I will ever know the real reason).

You see if there was an image in it that was against the forum rules (which I stated in my thread for people not to do)... I wouldn't know. My post count is not high enough to warrant a warning or a simple deletion of the offending pictures. And THAT is the hypocrisy that exists on this forum. As much as the mods would like to say they are fair and apply the rules evenly; that is a lie If you have a high post count and post pictures that are against the forum rules (ie... a cock shot) one of two things happened in the past week:
1. Your offending pics were removed or
2. You were actually told in a PM to remove the pics... or else.

Now if your post count was/is under approx 500 you simply awoke ti find your thread gone. No courtesy PM. No pic deletion. BOOM your thread was/is gone without any kind of explanation.

Looks at post count - yeah sorry too low to warrant any courtesy.

So if someone violated the pic posting rules in that thread I started; thanks a lot asshole

And to the mods I just want to say: Thanks... for the courtesy. Thanks for simply removing the pic(s) that were against the rules (sarcasm). Thanks for being about as fair and consistent as ....

Honestly, stop your whining! There's several stickys at the top of the forum, where there have been stated, that if any thread have a pic violating the forum rules, it will be deleted without any warning! And your thread was removed, because a poster didn't follow the rules!

As for the post count, well almost every thread that have reported have been removed, no matter the post count of the poster!

Oh yes, and this thread was moved to the darkroom, because one of the forum rules states:

At the risk of making the situation worse for other men who do post pics...

I don't think the OP should be be so quickly shuffled off as a whiner. I'm not sure if he has legitimate claims, but he does seem to have hit a discord here on Lit.

I haven't been keeping accurate records...but i have heard of threads being deleted while other Lit members being warned, or told to remove the pics that do not conform to Lit rules.

I've heard/read others speak of this discord as well, it is not just the OP that feels this is happening.

I don't have an answer...but I do feel as if Lit is not equal in all ways to all members.

I'm pretty sure the hypocrisy at which threads are deleted, people are warned, etc... will come to even more light soon. It doesn't bother me that my threads were deleted if I knowingly broke the rules; which I accept with my first thread. What does bother me is that The Meat Market thread was deleted without warning. Not only did I tell people to abide by the rules in that thread, but I also explained the rules in detail to avoid any problems with any mods. So here I was trying to do the right thing, and supposedly someone violated the rules. So instead of ... oh I dunno.. removing that pic and warning that person... my thread got deleted. Makes me want to just go find a popular thread and hotlink a pic of my cock in it LOL! But alas... I am just a whiner not a passive aggressive bitch

Yes...I think this is a serious issue in need of consideration. I find it very sexist that it is OK for women to post pictures I find to be sexually explicit, but it isn't ok for men to. Does this mean it is ok to objectify women, but not men? If this is the case, you are making your forum biased against homosexual men and straight women. This is just how it seems to me, but it seems like a girl would have to take a shot up her vagina with her labia pulled back for it to be considered "sexually explicit" but a man just has to show his penis. I find this hypocritical and disappointing...

Granted, I notice that a lot of men don't seem to know how to do erotic photos without taking their clothes off, but neither do many women and they are not ridiculed like this. I know it is supposed to protect yourselves but...I am just having trouble with this entire issue.
