I don't mind the tattoos at all... They can be very hot and sensual. But this is way too much for me (looks messy and weird):

it is a false myth that if you have a tattoo you can't be buried in a jewish cemetary. totally false.
Sorry to everyone for this entirely unsexy post. But as a Jew and a tattooed person I thought I had to respond.
Leviticus 19:28: "'You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves:"
Now, while there is no actual prohibition stating that you can't be buried in a Jewish cemetary specifically because you have tattoos, it is well established that there is a biblical prohibition against them. There are multiple reasons for this prohibition, from cleanliness, to the covenant, to the fact that many idol worshipping societies at the time used tattooing.
So, that's not really the point though, and I'm not really going to try discuss the origins of the bliblical prohibition. The answer is about being buried. As I mentioned, this is likely only the case for more Orthodox cemetaries. It is not an inherent prohibition in being buried in the cemetary, but it is a denial of allowing someone who willingly broke the prohibition to be buried in the cemetary.
So, while it isn't something that will automatically exclude you, there are a most certainly groups (probably not the majority), who will in fact exclude you.
Now, like every Jewish thing, you can find answers on every single side of this, often long involved ones. That's not really the point. I just wanted to point out that while not a guaruntee, its not quite a myth either.

does circumcision count as cutting?
No. Considering that's "part of the covenant." Its also one of the arguments against tattooing that I believe you will find in the Talmud. The gist of it is "This is what was prescribed by god, so who are we to cheapen it by making other marks on our flesh?"

I feel really excited to have started this conversation, and like a terrible jew for not having anything to contribute.
of course... the bacon I ate this morning might have something to do with it too.
gotta love how if it was written down somewhere then its ok![]()
Summer is over, and i got a few more tattoos.
I got a pair of tiny bows high up on the back of my thighs, and an even tinier one.... elsewhere![]()
For me too much would be if you go out to a formal event and not be able to hide them enough where you are comfortable. Most of yours sound like they are in concealable place where when you are at work or out on the town you are covered. but once someone gets you in the bedroom you show them the art.
sounds like a good balance of classy and edgy.
No such thing as too much
My progression of loving tattooed women has got the point that I'm starting feel like they're the only thing that turns me on
