Oh 100% I was keeping an eye on the pre-order level unlocks for all of the Classified stuff. The secondary market is insane on those. I was already working on collecting the Transformers. I'm primarily working on the Studio Series 86 stuff. I was already committed to that, so had to pass on the G.I.Joe stuff.

Transformers is a whole nother world . Fortunately (or not) Snake Eyes 000 was my re-introduction to you collecting so and I’ve been able to mostly stay focused on Classified.

Transformers is a whole nother world . Fortunately (or not) Snake Eyes 000 was my re-introduction to you collecting so and I’ve been able to mostly stay focused on Classified.

For me it was when Walmart put out the G1 re-issue of Contructicons/Devastator. That snowballed quickly into grabbing other G1 re-issues that I could, and then just continued into the Studio Series 86 line.

Maaaaaan, I remember texting my buddy in January 2020 asking “Am I REALLY gonna preorder a damn toy for $50?” Shot when it shipped during Covid it was such a needed mental boost. Fuck, I been collecting for 4 years now! And I don’t have a complete set, I’ve skipped a couple of the recent repaints…but aside from that. I have a problem

I know the feeling... my son gets a little upset when he's with me and I pick up one for my collection. Then I have to pick up a toy for him as well while we're there. I've had to be much more selective of when I go hunting for the collection.
