A few questions about waxing for men

Just as a prelude, I'm far from being a very hairy man but like most I do have hair down there even though my chest doesn't have anything naturally.

Now, I bought some wax strips to try just for fun as I really dislike shaving. How do you guys tend to use them and how often do you need to use it? It was painful, but I was honestly expecting a bit worse. However, I am a bit curious as to how other men use it and if there's any good tricks. For my first time I couldn't manage to get everything 100% but from my understanding that's not completely abnormal so I'll probably get the rest in 2 days (leaving some time for the skin to heal and such).

Also, have any of you guys tried waxing back there? How did that go? How did you even just physically do it, as in how do you place yourself?

So far I'm satisfied but I'll wait to see the results after a few times. I have to admit the pain and whole situation did make me laugh quite a bit in the bathroom. Such is life!

I've heard horrible things about hair removal creams but perhaps it's a good solution in combination with waxing?

All tips are welcomed. Thanks!

"Hey, Jamie, we can answer this question."

"But, Lisa, we aren't men."

"We know men. You call Paul and I'll call George. Our answer will be twice as good that way."

"Well, Jamie, George says use Johnson's Paste Wax on linoleum using the green pad on a random orbit polisher."

"That's odd, they usually agree, Paul says to always use Pure Carnuba wax on Lacquer after a clay bar. Oh, and use a cotton diaper cloth."

***

"That was certainly educational."

"As in we'll teach them not to ask us any more questions."

The "for men" supposes that this is waxing on men's bodies not that answers should be from men. But thanks for the tips

Ive only had my eyebrows professionally waxed. I bought an at home wax kit and used it on the backs of my hands to practice.

Eyebrows didn't hurt too bad, but it got expensive so I just pluck.

Hands went fine. but never worked up the courage to use it anywhere else. I don't like to be clean shaven down under. I find I sweat a lot more and it gets itchy for a week.

I trim about once a month to keep it short.

The 40 year old Virgin has some insight on make waxing... :D

My privates are hairless for 15 years now and few times a year I do full body waxing.
Tried with wax strips and I don't recommend them at all. I do have electric epilator. It does it's job, but the process takes too much time. And it can be tricky when you use it over the scrotum, it can grab your skin.
Best option for me, which I do recommend, is waxing. I go to waxing salon every 3-4 weeks, just to wax lower stomack, dick and ass. Every 3-4 months full body.
The girl that is waxing me uses hot wax, which proved to be the best option, because it opens the skin follicules and id doesn't hurt that much when she pulls the wax off. I'm the only male that she does dick and ass waxing.
So, to conclude: If you can find a waxing salon that does the male waxing, go for it.

I can only speak from a woman’s perspective, but I’ve recently started getting a full Brazilian wax at a salon every three to four weeks and it is absolutely the best decision I’ve ever made!! I’ll never go back to another hair removal method.

For me, the pain is very minimal and lasts only a few seconds. I actually really enjoy the pampering, and I find it quite relaxing.

The more you wax, your hair grows back much softer and less corse.

I highly recommend you find a reputable spa or salon in your area and give it a shot. We’d love to hear how it goes! ;)

I think I might have to give it a try. Daily shaving is so tedious. The price we pay for silky smooth.
