Time for Psychological Operations to be stepped up, clearly. Now, with brains that small they're pretty tough to bluff, so don't start spreading diplomatic rumors about doing WMD inspections, that will be a waste of time. You need something really cunning, such as a leaflet campaign offering lavish rewards for turning in proof of the demise of their tyrannical leaders, probably coupled with something to make an alternative location seem more attractive.

Maybe a trail of honey leading to the back door of one of your neighbors?

They're pretty cute!

Where I find them in Florida is in the loose sand. Depending of the size of the critter, can make a funnel like divit up to an inch deep. They back around in a circle throwing the sand away with their head. Once they have their pit trap, they wait at the bottom for an ant to wander across and use the sand throwing to make the ant fall down to the vertex of the pit.

I use to gather up hand fulls of them and spread them around an ant hill. Was like laying out a biological mine field.

I was a very odd child. But I lived in the woods with the closest person my age around a mile away, so I found ways to entertain myself.

Well...first of all...pyrethrin is what you want for spot sprays and instant kills, and Ishmael is cough google..cough right when he says that you need to secure your borders.

Do Not Use Baits! Unless you want every ant in town coming to visit. Syre, ya catch a lot of ants, but they werent yours.

Bombing and spraying for home invaders like ants is a short term, and or on going thing.

Find out where they are getting in, and seal that area up with clear silicone, or whatever.

If it's any consolation, whenever I think of something needin' killin', vermin or quality control,....I always think Killswitch first.

I have an Aunt Gertrude that annoys the shit out of me.
