So you always vote for them, yet you don't consider yourself one?

I vote for them in national elections so as not to squander my vote. I am, however, a green socialist.

So you are a Democrat then? :D

Again, primaries are how to change how a Party works.

in 1968 Wallace split the Democratic ticket, Nixon won the South, and the election.

1912, Roosevelt ran third party, split the Republicans, and Wilson got elected.

Serious 3rd party candidates take votes away from major parties
ahhhhhhhhhhh
The whole point it that there are ONLY two MAJOR parties. By taking to opportunity to vote for a 3rd party on the rare occasion we have it, that is our choice. It is NOT a wasted vote. If one of the other candidates lose it is ONLY because they LOST the election. The people who didn't vote for them did so because they did not want to vote for them.
God. This is making my head hurt.

I denounce the poll.

The two party system is fucked.

I'm a classic liberal in the very traditional sense, a paleocon really. I'm a recovering Republican who is also beyond disenchanted with the two party oligarchy, and disgusted to the point that I am truly a major advocate of third party influx into our American system. I am very Libertarian in many ways, and believe that the US Constitution is the most profound and important document written.

I'm a Goldwater and Teddy Roosevelt disciple who believes in Austrian economics (vonMises) and one who believes in personal responsibility, minimal government, and a strong defense. I'm a big history buff and one of Reagan's children.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

That would be nice if it was true

We live in a two party system because we have a winner-take-all system, until that changes, you're stuck with 2 parties
