Arizona! The new thread

Most of the country is about to get slammed with cold and we have 72 wonderful sunny degrees.:p

If one chooses to live in the Valley of the Sun or parts South, one pretty well gets what one deserves.

At least it's a dry heat...

Yes, only one does not always choose, sometimes one's job dictates where one has to live ;)

But yes I'll take the dry over humidity any day!

The thing I always liked about Az summers is, come dusk, the temps drop fast and it's really nice to be out. Still dry, usually the air is moving in a warm breeze, there's no damn mosquitoes or other tiresome flying bugs...

We get a few mosquitoes after to monsoon, but nothing like the east has for the entire summer. I will take 2 or 3 months of heat over 5 or 6 months of cold. You don't have to shovel heat.

Amen... work keeps me here in Dallas...

I don't know what part of AZ you were in sickie, but my part, night dropped temps from 115 to 109 and we use to pray for the bats to come out at the evening softball games so they would gobble up the mosquitoes..

I like how you Zonie Girls have offered up my hot tub to the newbie without my consent. However, I think an autumn soaking party is in order now that it has cooled down here in Lonesome Valley.

Oh, and welcome to the thread Hoosier. Please rinse well when you're finished with your personal grooming. We don't want any "floaters" in the pool.
