Author Profile Page - Banner Image Customization???

I don't know if I've noticed before, but after clicking Options in the Control Panel, there's apparently an upload button (see bottom right corner of screenshot below) to customize one's banner photo?

• Has anyone tried this?
• What are the set pixel dimensions?
• Or is there an FAQ? (I gave up after 5 min of searching )

Or perhaps I'm forgetting that this might be the upload for a Profile Picture? ...

It's definitely custom header image. I uploaded two separate images for PFP and banner and they are up for review now.

Just upload a picture and save your profile. There’s a cropping tool and a zoom to adjust what you show.

well I just found it and quickly uploaded a picture. It's waiting for moderation. I might change it before it ever gets on my profile. It's possible it will get rejected, since its a pic of an MLB game. need to find something that's me, that would be better I think.

ETA: changed it to a pic of a sunrise

I tried uploading and got a message that the pixel dimensions are 1198x204.

Some things to note if you don't want certain banner image details to be blocked or cut off:
-Based on what device you're viewing the image, it will scale and crop based on if you're viewing it on a desktop browser at max screen size (wider image, less tall) versus if you're viewing it on mobile (taller image, less wide).
-On mobile, your profile photo will be toward the bottom middle. On desktop with a maximized browser window, your profile photo will be on the left.

wrong picture. I'm talking about the banner image that shows as a banner at the top of your author home page, i.e. https://www.literotica.com/authors/TheWritingGroup/works/stories
