The song you picked for Xia is intriguing. Anger and vulnerability and... I don't know what, that was intriguing.

(I dunno about Kataang, though. Not a massive Soulja Boy fan, though some of his stuff I like. I like the sentiment! Stupid 'Zula-threat keeping them apart!)

It's been years since I've heard that Carolyn Dawn Johnson song, I remember liking that when it came out.

And the Zombie song seemed pretty cool.

It is pretty refreshing. And I'm pretty sure the lady involved will come to a similar conclusion. I think she might need to lay eyes on him again, however. She's big on visual confirmation.

And Ryota's makes me want to see Shrek again.

I don't need to see the whole movie again, but that montage was nice.

Speaking of theme songs, I heard Lifehouse's "Hanging By a Moment" on the radio this morning. Inescapably a "Xiota" theme, at least from her perspective.

Kataang I think are two songs which are one song. Apart, they're Sarah Brightman's "The Second Element." Together, they're "The Second Element II."

I'll try to hunt up Youtubery and lyrics when I've more time.

heheh Unseen's crack summaries always amuse me. Even if I still bug her at times on how one of them for a Titans thread made one of my supporting characters out to be a creepy molester just waiting for his chance at luring someone half his age into a dark, sound proof room.

And, yes, visual confirmation would be good. All the more reason for getting the Water Tribe bunch (or at least Katara and Ryota) to meet up with and spend some time with Aang's group.

Not just because of Xiota scenes, either. I'm equally amused at the idea of Sokka trying to busy himself with Iroh or whatever in order to ignore that his sister's probably in there doing unmentionable things with Aang after being apart for so long. It's gonna take more then 'angst mufflers' for that!

And very sweet song choices. I sorta wish I was better at picking out music like you two. Once in a while I'll come across a song which causes me to think "yeah, that fits this character/pairing", but most of the time I won't make such connections.

hmm.. because it's a very big deal to her and I don't think I've ever completely addressed it before... I'm going to take this moment to mention Bee's scars.

They're not even half as bad as she thinks they are. If one was to take off all that plant dye they'd be nothing but twin pairs of thin, feathering, slightly raised, white lines. Frankly I doubt anyone would notice unless they were paying attention.

The reason she's got this mental image of them being so disfiguring is that they really were nasty looking buggers back when she was little and still healing. She started painting those stripes on before she met Longshot and Jet and the only time she's been without them was on the Fire Nation prison ship. Mirrors were a luxury they weren't allowed and she was a pain in the ass as far as prisoners go so it was one of those things the guards liked to pick on. Her imagination has since kept the reality of her face exaggerated.

...I adore her completely.. but Bee is a bit of an idiot.
