Avatar: Lightning strikes (OOC)

*reading through post* Um, wait, I'm pretty sure Aang, Iroh and Xia are at the Western Air Temple right now. So...unless I'm missing something, I don't think Toph would be able to meet up with them so easily.

...I love you guys.

I dunno. :: chuckles ::

I'm just reading your OOC exchange and I'm just grinning my butt off.

I love this. I love y'all.

Oh, thank goodness. lol The rolling eyes made me think we did something to upset you and this was your way of sarcastically flipping the bird.

Ironically (and perhaps obviously) enough, my post was done with the intention of finally giving Toph someone to play off of for a bit. I miss the feisty little Earthbender.

So, um, if you want, I could edit out the end of my post and you could alter yours to bumping into Zuko and Ty Lee? Or perhaps bump into Smellerbee while she's storming off? That may work in a way where we'd be able to salvage things the most. *shrugs*

I have no problem with leaving Longshot and The Duke eating alone for the time being.

Affectionate eyeroll! Look ma, no avians!

Just 's.

Whew. Because if there's two things I hate, it's ticking you off and causing any undo harm to the birds.

Well, unless it's those nasty little buggers from the Hitchcock movie. I blame them for my distrust in fireplaces while growing up.

I cannot recall any time where you have successfully ticked me off, and certainly never to that extent.

(And, for the record? Tippi Hedren had it coming to her. :: brandishes a fist :: )

Pft, fine, be a pain. Maybe I'll cut and add onto the last portion of my post for an additional post since yours ignores the ending of mine.

Or maybe I'll just give up on talking to Toph and leave her to sit and mope by herself about Kurzen. Nyah. :p

What you got against poor widdle Tippi? Aside from the whole accepting a part in Birds 2 in an attempt to spite a dead man.

...What did I miss NOW?!?

You saw my whole lil rant back in After Hours, right...?

I originally had Longshot and The Duke approach Toph at the end of the post and ask if they could join her.

But it's cool, because I'm starting to think you're about one ooc post away from reaching through the monitor and slamming my head into the desk until I stop bugging you. *snickers*

I'm good friends with The Parliament of Ravens. (heehee Gaiman fangirl reference)

...they don't like her. At all.

......

Don't worry, Lily. I'm redirecting my attention toward bugging the fangirl here for posts. *poke, poke*

I thought giving an expected interval for posting granted immunity to Posting Stickery? :(

It doesn't hold up when I end up reading through someone's wikipedia entry due to said poster when they were just talking about an issue of Sandman! *pokes harder*

Or I think it was Sandman. Other then a select few issues, I haven't read through that in forever and a day at this point.

Hmm In either case, I'll let it go this time, but consider this a warning. *nods*

Shoot. I knew I should have gone with the "Anansi Boys" reference...

Hey you know those threads for casual talk stuff? Yeah, those are cool.

Yes, I know, I'm a jerk and a hater of fun.

Anyway, I had been contemplating getting Kurzen back to the palace for a while now, and I guess Toph's mention of him is finally getting me to do it, but I still need a good reason. If he's on patrol for Azula, I doubt he'd return with no info, and I doubt he'd return with a report himself rather than send a messanger bird or some other soldier. I suppose maybe have him find some clue of Azula's wareabouts that would require him to return so the group could discuss potential strategy? Or perhaps a battle with some of her followers causes him to return due to injury? (strong followers, of course).

Since this would sort of affect Azula stuff, I didn't want to make assumptions and figured I'd ask if anyone had any input towards this.

Well, Eazy's fella had mentioned that patrols were getting a little too close for comfort... Kurzen's patrol butting heads with some of the Rebels would give you a reason to send him home, and Azula's group a reason to get moving on their own plans.

That could work. Bump into a few suspicious Firebenders, ask the wrong/right questions, fighting occurs, Kurzen gets sent back with a likely lead but no concrete "Azula is here! Everyone stop what you're doing and attack!" proof just yet. More or less, anyway.

I was actually thinking of having the Water Tribe group bump into a rebel party shortly after their business in the Western Air Temple was wrapped up. So if Kurzen shows up with a possible lead, then that would give a good excuse for redirecting them and/or possibly others in that direction within the next IC day or two.
