Sorry for my absence last night... It was a rough day. A bit of an emotional rollercoaster. Good news, I finally got confirmation for the start date of my new job and it was Mike's birthday. Bad news, Mike didn't get the job he was really hoping for and I had cancer take a family member. So yeah, by the end of the night, I was just ready to go to bed and make it all go away.

Wow quite a day I m sorry for the loss of your family member. I lost 3 to cancer myself. Sorry Mike didn't get the job. Congrats on your job. Happy birthday Mike.

It was hilarious.. Mike, his brother, and our 8yo son... All giggling like lunatics after each new thing that went BANG! HAHAHA and that is just day one. We have 7 more to go. Grandpa gets here tomorrow to join in the fun. Then we'll have three generations of pyros having one hell of a good time. Don't worry, the garden hose is on standby. Lol

It's all good here...been on my travels again so I've not been on much. I hope you guys gat a chance to chill out this week. As for fireworks I'm sure Mike could do some indoor or in bedroom fireworks for you.....it might be tricky catching the eruption on camera though!

I know you're talking a sexy photo shoot rather than sex in general but ...

You remind me Nikki of a decision we made when our kids were the age of your kids: They would know that their mum and dad enjoyed each other in their bedroom; they would know that it could get noisy; they'd be assured that it was cuz we love each other; they'd get the idea that this is how we made them; we had some absolute rules about how they could get our attention if really necessary when our bedroom door was shut. [For us, a lock came later, as we wanted them to know when they were still little that if they really had to come to get us it would be possible].

We extended that approach to house guests. Younger couples staying over, I have a word with the guy assuring him that if they would like anytime to be private in our guest room please feel free "and we won't be listening." It was so good to say that to a godson of mine who came to stay with his wife of just a few weeks. When guests have been given that invitation, it follows through that we have the same freedom.

Sex "hush hush" between partners in their own home? - OUT the window with that idea!
