Brain-storming ideas for 4th part of my LW series

It's time for me to start brain-storming for the 4th part of my Untethered Hearts series.

Synopsis of the series so far is:
A wife - Katrina, about 47yo - is bored with her marriage and through a personal adult ad finds a woman to seduce her husband so that she has a reason to give her family and friends for divorcing hubby. The ad is answered by - Jessa - single, precocious, hypersexual, slightly narcissistic yuppy approximately 15 years her junior who agrees to do the job for Katrina. Jessa first seduces Katrina, then tries to seduce - Dale, about 49yo - the husband, who resists her attempts to seduce him as long as he can. When Jessa is finally successful seducing Dale, she sends the signal to Katrina to 'catch them' after the fact. Katrina has a change of heart and tells Jessa they will not be splitting up and they will no longer be seeing Jessa, breaking Jessa's heart in the process. Katrina, upon returning home with Dale, confesses what she contrived and the two of them try to heal their marriage. They try for a while until Dale realizes that Katrina is still smitten with Jessa, and Dale secretly places an ad to reconnect with Jessa and these portions of the series ends with Dale surprising Katrina with meeting Jessa in the same place she initially met Jessa.

Part 1 was told from the POV of Jessa.
Part 2 was told from the POV of Katrina.
Part 3 was told from the POV of Dale.

I have a few ideas already for the fourth part. Ultimately, part four is what happens after they reconnect. It will be how they define their relationship going forward. Jessa desires both husband and wife. Dale and Katrina both desire Jessa, but the three of them have to either come to terms with being a menage-a-trois or they have to decide to remain an entirely platonic friendly relationship, or perhaps even the three will take turns pairing off.

I have to decide what POV to use for this next portion of the series. I'm trying to decide whether to round robin like I did with the previous portion, or head hop the entire portion, or tell entirely from 3rd person.

Any ideas?

For their relationship I would say menage-a-trois and taking turns coupling combination.
Where they devide their time between 1-on-1's and threesomes, on a schedule. I think that would give the most diverse scenario's since they all have time with each other in different ways, but also have time alone when the 2 others have their day together.

The POV I would go with another round Robin, highlighting the struggles of each individual seperately and how it's resolved. This doesn't have to happen simultaniously since different problems can manifest at different stages of the relationship.

I would do something like this:
First one who has doubt would be Dale.
After Jessa entered their marriage, Katrina has a lot of focus on Jessa. Like a child who got a new toy and now has less interest in an old one. With Jessa she is in a sort of 'Honeymoon phase' while she loves Dale, it's normal and less exciting. Dale worries that Katrina loves Jessa more than him, even though he and Jessa have a great connection but he feels like his connection with Katrina is dwindling.
Something that would drive this home, could be something like Katrina suddenly asks Dale to put his finger in her ass during their 1-on-1, Dale being surprised since Katrina never allowed anything to do with her ass. Then she tells him that Jessa convinced her to try it and she likes it. This hurts Dale since he has always asked her about it, but she never wanted to try it with him. Could be resolved by Dale conviding in Jessa and Jessa points out to Katrina that she shouldn't just be adventurous with her, but also with Dale and that she is neglecting Dale in that aspect.

Second would be Jessa.
Jessa could feel invalidated, the other 2 being older than she is, she feels like her opinion sometimes isn't valued because of her age and having less life experience. In the bedroom she sometimes feels like a toy being used by Katrina and Dale. That she's there to spice up their relationship in stead of being in the actual relationship. Resolution could be that she puts her foot down, and wants to be allowed to decide things in the relationship much like Katrina and Dale. Maybe throw in something about basically everything around the house belonging to Katrina and Dale and nothing actually being 'her's' and that they change that by gifting her part of the house or something like them buying new furniture together as a throuple so that the decorations etc. Are now something all three of them decided on in stead of it being Dale's and Katrina's from before she joined.

Third then would be Katrina.
What comes to mind to me is that this could be the big one. If it fits your story. Jessa would get pregnant by Dale, through a misunderstanding Jessa thought Dale couldn't have children, however it was actually Katrina who couldn't have children. Jessa quit birth control since she didn't see the point and is now pregnant. Katrina is hurting because Jessa now will give Dale something she couldn't, she knows Dale secretly always wanted children but accepted that it wouldn't happen because she was infertile. He put that wish aside for her, but now it's happening. She knows there is no way she can ask them to terminate it, and she doesn't want to since she does want to raise a child together with them. However she feels inadequate and lesser than the younger and fertile Jessa.
Resolution could be that without asking, she is included in everything and Jessa and Dale actually refer to the child like it's her's as much as Jessa's. Slowly Katrina feels involved and like she will become a mother.

This is the direction I would take it. I hope that helps you a bit with ideas. Starting a throuple while it was a 'regular' marriage before can spark a lot of issues with feelings etc. so there are other things you could explore as well. But I think what I wrote creates struggles for all 3 of them that are realistic and could make for engaging scenario's

When I was thinking about whether or not to do the round robin again, I had been thinking about the same time frame for the different POV's like I did with the other three stories in the series, but I think your idea has merit that the next round robin wouldn't have to cover the same time frame. Also, I think you are right that I should start the next one from Dale's POV.

I think different time frames makes sense since Katrina and Jessa are 'surprised' about reuniting, while Dale made that happen. So it would make sense for him to see issues sooner than the other two and arriving at his struggles before them.

I think you have a lot of material to explore since a lot of issues could arise with this scenario. I could imagine that Jessa for example is more kinky than Dale and Katrina (I mean it started out when she was hired to sleep with Dale). So will she get all her sexual needs fulfilled?
There could also be troubles in decision making, with 2 people in a relationship it's always 1 on 1 and you have to compromise, but in a throuple how do you handle situations where 2 people want something the third doesn't agree with?

You could also ask advice in other parts of the forum, there are probably people on the forums that are or have been in a throuple, but don't check the 'Story ideas' section. Maybe in the 'How to' or 'fetish & sexuality' sections. Or maybe even just on the 'General Board'.
