‘It’s Horrifying’: James Carville Sounds Alarm About Key Dem Voting Bloc Leaving Party In ‘Droves’

Former Bill Clinton campaign strategist James Carville expressed concerns on Sunday about the number of young voters, a key voting bloc for Democrats, that are leaving his party.

President Joe Biden was supported by 52% of Americans aged 18 to 34, while former President Donald Trump received support from 48% of this crucial Democratic voting bloc in February polling data. This is a major difference from past presidential elections, including 2020, which Carville called an alarming development on “Carville’s Classroom.”

“I’ve been very vocal about this,” Carville said. “It’s horrifying our numbers among younger voters, particularly younger blacks, younger latinos … younger people of color. Particularly males. We’re not shedding them, they’re leaving in droves.”

Younger voters were key to Biden’s coalition in 2020 as a Pew Research Center analysis found 59% of voters aged 18 to 29 voted for him in the 2020 presidential election, while Trump received 33% of the vote among this bloc.

Even the young and dumb can see what Biden and his Marxists are doing to the country.

Yes:
Biden's
Dementia
Syndrome
Every thread you make about him demonstrates the true definition .

You don't care what Carville says. You like that it reflects on the man who occupies your head all day every day.

I do care what he says because he is one of the most insightful Democrat fanatics alive. If he says there is bad news for the Democrats you better believe it. He dares to say what other Democrats don't want to hear.

Lol.... Of course you do.

The question is why is he saying it?

The answer is not because it's bad news.

He's saying it because he's alarmed at what it portends for the Democrats on election day.

The're leaving the Republicans as well.

Right now the only party growing is the non party of Independents. Gloat all you want over the Democratic parties failure to attract young voters, the Republicans are doing even worse....

Yes, I get that you think that.
Okay, I am just asking here, not trying to argue. You know what Right, and I as well (no surprise there, I am sure) takes from what Carville says. I think it is very self-explanatory. But I don't like the juvenile "yeas he does" "no he doesn't" back and forth. Right gave his takeaway. What do you believe he is saying and why he is saying it? Not a trick question.

Carville is pushing the campaign to make changes. He knows he has pull with the party and when he wants change, he makes hyperbolic comments to get enough attention to get it.

The devil himself could bash President Biden and you call him "insightful." You have no integrity, no backbone.

It's really a pointless statement when you think about it. The young people want a candidate who will connect with them. Biden is 104 years old, or somewhere around there. OF COURSE he is going to alienate young voters.

Trump, on the other hand, is in his late 70's- hardly a young hipster himself. What it comes down to, is which party, and which candidate, will do a better job of addressing the widely held interests of the 18-30 year old voting demographic. For example, the younger generation is very concerned about environmental issues and climate change. If Trump and the Republican party showed the same concerns for these things, that would indeed be bad news for Biden and the Democrats. Young people generally want more social freedoms, bodily autonomy from government overreach, and tolerance and acceptance for GLBT people. Do the Republicans, and Trump, support these things? I would have to say no; and I think even Rightguide would agree with me.

In short, it is true that Biden and the Democrats are probably having trouble connecting with the 18-30 voting block. But in the end, it comes down to the lesser of two evils- it isn't so much a case of "Which candidate is supporting their interests" as much as it is, "Which candidate is actively going out of their way to make things worse."

After careers that pay their bills, with a growing recognition they won't or didn't find that in four year colleges with lifetime debt. Most people want the freedom to be who they are. Both sides are pushing their own sexuality agendas.

Sexuality agendas? You mean like the right to enjoy your life and be left alone by the haters? Some "agenda".
