I'd like to offer my opinions and help as a long-time RPer (12+ years of RP and writing experience) to anyone out there who want to make their characters more realistic and believable.
I have experience in many different types of RPs, such as:
High and Dark Fantasy
Modern Realistic and Modern Dark Fantasy
Cyberpunk
Space Marine
Medieval, both Fantasy and Realistic
Post-Apocalyptic
Horror/Survival
I also have experience in many different RP realms such as:
Pern (Anne McAffery, Pern series)
World of Darkness/Vampire: the Masquerade Earth (White Wolf)
Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Earth (Laurell K. Hamilton)
Erna (C.S. Friedman, Black Sun Rising trilogy)
Eldh (Mark Anthony)
Rhy'Din (AOL RP)
Eden and Ayenee (Yahoo RP)
Ballybran (Anne McAffery, Crystal Singer trilogy)
If I'm unfamiliar with any realm whose theology is integral to the personality of the character, my help may be limited, but I will do my best to make sure the characteristics of that character are realistic.
I am usually good at spotting flaws in a character's personality or ability set that may make them "too powerful" or "too perfect", or Mary Sue/Gary Stu-ish. If you are curious to check and make sure your character has a three dimensional and realistic personality, please feel free to writer me via PM or post here.
