Tell them your pick sweety...![]()
staggerlee said:My pick is Cookiejar.........is that what you meant? Or are you talking about the race again?
For the race I'm picking the old guys to return to dominance....Dale Jarret first, Bill Elliott second, Sterling Marlin third.
Sentimental choice...Morgan Shepard
cookiejar said:Smartypants...Wow that is a sentimental choice!
I love Robby Gordon but I think Jeff has a better chance.
staggerlee said:Being an Alabama boy and having the race in Alabama I have to stick with what remains of the Alabama gang....Jarret and Sadler. Pretty sad that none of the Alabama gang is from Alabama.
You gotta love ol Morgan...He traded a 57 Chevy he had restored for an engine to run last year. That's a true love of racing. Is there a bigger underdog. Who knows he may be so far behind that when the big wreck happens the entire field will be taken out except for him.
cookiejar said:I love underdogs...it's really easy to get behind a winner. I loved Alan Kulwicki, was in his fan club. If that isn't a success story! People laughed at me but I knew he had talent. I was devastated when he died, didn't watch Nascar for 2 years.
I like the whole field being taken out...lol
staggerlee said:I was a huge Kulwicki fan too. He was the last of the owner/drivers to have any success and he did everything his own way. He was probably the first college graduate to race in NASCAR, that's just a guess. I read a book by a lady about Winston Cup and I can't remember the name of it, but she worked with Kulwicki and told some really funny stories about him.
cookiejar said:I was only 16 and I had a terrific crush on him. He was smart, handsome, and determined. I woulda given him my virginity...alas he never asked.lol

staggerlee said:So does that mean I still have a chance to get it?![]()

cookiejar said:Of course! My daughter was conceived by immaculate conception![]()
