I can’t remember the name or find this series. I think it was a five part series. It was in the gay male category, about this college boy and how he got with this frat boy. It was in first person pov.

I definitely remember in chapter one that the first encounter was at a party, at a hot tub. I think that the protagonist was together with a bunch of other guys and they left the hot tub, leaving the protagonist with the frat guy. Another thing I remember, later in the series (I think part 3 or 4) when the protagonist goes home for the holidays and has an annoying sister, and so he spends most of his time in his room playing online video games with his roommates and missing the frat boy. I remember that the protagonist joked about fried chicken with his roommates too. In the final chapter the protagonist goes over to the frat house to wait for the frat boy after the holidays. I remember at the end they were cuddling and the frat boy said something about asking the protagonist to be his boyfriend, and so the protagonist takes out his phone and saves the frat boys number. The frat boy says something like “you didn’t save my number?” And the protagonist answers with something like “shut up, I bet you saved mine under tiny or something.”

Some other stuff that I remember but don’t remember where in the timeline it is, was that the protagonist texts the frat boy “I’m coming over” and he noticed that it was a difference from the usual pattern of “come over” that the frat boy sends. Also, the protagonist definitely goes over to the frat boys room and at sometime is left alone there, so he explores the room and finds this well loved book, but one section is more worn then the other parts, and when open the character say something like “‘How’s the old ball and chain?’ ‘He’s the same as usual’ the scientist answered.” And it gave the protagonist feelings that the frat boy loved this one part of the book that mentioned a gay relationship normally.
