I am looking for one female writer, or many writers of all types. This is a semiopen RP. I wish to create an RP that centers around a Red Cliff meets Ninja Scroll/ Naruto style plot. Basically two opposing clans need to come together because of a looming threat. My character is the Prince of one side, and has faint premonitions in his dreams, and keeps seeing the Princess of the other clan/nation. It is decided that they should marry to cement the alliance. These two clans have been at war a very long time. There is mistrust and battle and blood between them. The third force can be portrayed as well, but if it becomes a one on one RP I’d like to focus on the couple’s interactions. This could be a great many person thread though, and I was thinking I may open this to any fantasyish type character. Who is to say your clan isn’t a buncha foxmorphs while another person’s clan is humans, or elves, or gnomes? Maybe you use your chakra to fight or heal, maybe its runes or energy gathered from the environment for ancient spells. There are few rules. Please, do not godmode.
This is about warrior/ninja clans. There should be fighting, which means we need to follow the RP etiquette of fighting, and really, good RP in general. Never control another person’s character without their –explicit- consent. No called hits. No deus ex machina ass save crap because you’re losing. One rule here about gear: Before you can use it in battle or any major plot point, it needs to be introduced. No characters big and slow suddenly gaining super speed, but… This is a type of setting where there can be vast differences.
You can kind of go wild on what/who your background is. Hey, you wanna be a Highland warrior who gains power from wearing the sigils of the Fae? Go for it. Just set your limits and stay within them. Multipara is preferred. At least a paragraph minimum is a general guideline, though highly detailed multipara is preferred. If you’re interested, post your character sheet, and maybe at least part of an opening post. If I think it’ll gel, I’ll tell you to post in the IC thread. I plan to put my own character's intro into the IC shortly, but here is roughly what I'm looking for here. Though, feel free to post your entire intro and/or ideas if you would like to.
Name: Leo, Shadow prince of the White Cliffs Pard
Race: Shapeshifter
Height: 5’8” normal form
Weight: 175 lbs. normal form
Sexual preference: Hetero
Leo is the second son of the White Cliffs Pard assassin soldier clan. He generally takes the form of a snow leopard cat anthromorph with short, white, rosetted fur, a cat’s ears, claws, and tail, particularly when fighting, or a pale, long, raven-locked, blue-eyed human with a lean, lithe, almost whipcord physique. He is mischevious. He is a good guy but cynical. He is not a very social guy. He is known for his summoning technique. (May be changed, but I’m thinking he may be a companion fighter, possibly with a large cat, or wolf, and perhaps a raven. .He prefers to use a kusarigama (a chanwhip), or his ashandarei (a staff tipped by a two foot long, slightly curved blade), as well as the usual other ninja style weapons and items that would usually be considered part of their kits like throwing knives, smoke bombs, some healing/wound patching items.
