Thanks again. Do you sit around searching the internet for these great and helpful sites? LOL:D
I've been wondering what a .DAT video format was for years and this explains it!
DAT -- The file type used for video data on a Video CD disc. Contains MPEG-1 video.

I have bought several CD's at the computer swap meet for $5-7 that are complete one hour XXX videos, some of them very good, with plots and acting (in between the sex). They are all in .DAT format. When you play them on the PC, Media Player works but it doesn't see this format as a video format, so you have to view All Types *.* and click on the DAT file and it plays great! Check it out if you have a swap meet near you, guys and gals.:D

Heh! NO, I don't. I do subscribe to several Lockernome things as well as the Register and i belong too several boards that talk about new technology as well as problems with computers.

Before 2000 I never had even look at a PC. This , being the HOW TO board many topics are discussed and questions are asked. If the information is here I can do a search for it.

I also like to help people.:)
