So I (38M) have these cousins (closer in age to me, F, some have different parents). We'd see each other 2 or 3 times a year, enough to recognize and be happy to spend time with each other but by no means would I have called us "close." I used to fantasize about them heavily when we were teenagers. Less so now as adults, I barely see them but occasionally when I think of them, sometimes I wank it.

They were fine as hell then, and still are. The weird thing is I'm pretty sure one of them was sexually interested in me. We flirted a lot but never crossed any boundaries. Since then I've privately rationalized to myself that a cousin is a perfect FWB partner.

You DO love them, they are family after all.

You would actually be happy for them when they get married (no sense of "what could've been.")

In answer to the question have four female cousins that I have some attraction to.

My fantasy used to be that these are 4 different personalities with 4 different body types with what I fantasize to be 4 different love-making experiences. I did some historical research on the people that lived in an area from the early 1800s to present day where a lake was to be built years ago. I was amazed how many of the married couples were first cousins. 200 years ago the pickings were slim when your next neighbor was three miles away and travel was by foot or horse.

Yeah I think it was up until the bicycle became common place, most people lived and died within a few miles of their birth, making it ever the more likely that you'd marry a relative.

From the POV of genetic health, I do disagree with first cousin pairings. I think genetically speaking, a 4th cousin is nearly indistinguishable from a random stranger on the street. Their last common ancestor(s) are a pair of great-great-great grandparents (at that level, this would be 1/16 or 1/32 ol shared ancestry.

To me, these are first and second cousins. I don't want a baby... I just wanna fuck. And maybe the taboo nature of it is a turn on, all on it's own.
