U must see Amsterdam sometimes......If it wasn't for the coffee shops u guys would be roaming the streets all day here

I always wanted to go there but never managed to stop by though I'm in the Netherlands several times a year. Mostly Noord Holland and Friesland though.

Depends on what you've experienced, I'd say.
There are German beers I, for one, don't like, no matter if they're made under this old "German Brewery Law" or not.
Its just another generalization like Scotch's better than Bourbon or Sherry's better than Port. In my humble opinion.

But who am I to answer that anyway since I'm more into spanish red wines. Tempranillo grapes preferably

I don't know NYC, but both London and Paris are great.

For the sake of this EUROPEAN thread I'd like to add Barcelone, Spain and Florence, Italy to the list of great cities.

Barcelona is the best city I've visited so far...though I was quite impressed with Cleveland, Ohio on a recent visit to the US...
