My employer sent me to interview a lady about a huge unpaid debt at the time I was about 22 had my first small company car and was pretty naive. The property turned out to be a large and very neglected mansion in Cumbria with a drive that was at least half a mile long.
The lady was in her mid fifties lived alone and had a huge debt problem that made her live in just a few rooms of this rambling property. She was about 5”5, very well spoken, chubby but not fat and treated more like a tradesman the someone trying to help her.
Her final ploy was to undo two buttons of her top exposing a huge chest at which point I fled.
Years later I still curse my lost opportunity and fantasise regularly about how things might have played out.
