I have this guilty pleasure of sorts. I'm an avid reader, not only here but in general too, so I have read a few things in my days. And I have found a few stories that fit this guilty pleasure. Stories that start off like a generic porn/erotic story, but they have an interesting core. So much that the author continues the series and developing a rich world filled with interesting drama and character studies. And you can tell that the author is interested in telling the story as much as I am to read it. Often you will have a gradual decrease of sexual content because it tends to get 'in the way' of the story.
I remember one story that involved time-travel and the act of seeding different timelines with genetic material. Started off as a breeding kink story, and ended up with power-struggles across time. And the sex was reduced to "And then they had sex. It was awesome." This is an actual line in the story.
Anyone have come across stories like that? If so, can you recommend them?
