Well, they are right. I was seeing if anyone would like what I write, and I'm at 139 followers, so I guess it's time to admit what I've been saying out in the real world for years. No one can edit their own work.

So, anyone want to edit my latest Sarah and Ben story?

If you take time and care, yes, you can edit your own work.

It helps if you know the fundamentals, obviously - that's usually where writers let themselves down.
 
If you don't have an editor, use Read Aloud to check your work.

Actually, you should use Read Aloud even if you do have an editor. It's only polite to do as much of the work as you can yourself.
