Are you on it? Insurance cover it? What's it costing you? Is it working? Are you concerned about side effects?

The pharmaceutical industry, led by Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly, is projected to generate over $100 billion to $180 billion annually from GLP-1 drugs by 2030–2034. Some estimates suggest cumulative revenue could reach $470 billion by 2030. These, including Ozempic, Wegovy, and Zepbound, are set to become some of the best-selling drugs in history.

Makes viagra seem puny. Lol. :)

From what I've seen it's extremely effective in suppressing appetite, which leads to weight loss just by lowering calorie intake.

There are a lot more fat people than limp dick people. Lol. :)

Save yourself a boatload of money and have your jaw wired shut. That's also better than being a big pharma guinea pig for the next decade.

Or, you know, just stop eating fast food, processed sugar, and carbs. It takes about 3-5 days and you'll stop the cravings and start to lose weight. Without needing to increase your exercise level.

Common Side Effects
Nausea and Vomiting: The most reported symptoms, often due to slowed gastric emptying, typically lessening as the body adjusts.
Diarrhea and Constipation: Very common, with nausea and vomiting sometimes lasting for several days.
Abdominal Issues: Belly pain, bloating, belching, and gas.
Fatigue and Dizziness: Frequently reported, sometimes due to reduced food intake.
Reduced Appetite: A common, intended effect that can lead to rapid weight loss.
Rare and Serious Side Effects
Pancreatitis: Inflammation of the pancreas.
Gallbladder Problems: Gallstone attacks or bile duct blockages.
Kidney Issues: Acute kidney damage due to dehydration from vomiting/diarrhea.
Gastroparesis/Bowel Obstruction: Severe stomach paralysis.
Allergic Reactions: Serious cases involving anaphylaxis or angioedema.
Thyroid C-cell Tumors: Risk identified in animal studies.

Yikes! :)

You do understand that those are just side effects that have been observed in rare cases, correct?

Do NOT ask your doctor if GLP-1 is right for you -- if it is, your doctor will think of that first.

I've heard if you stop you come back twice as big. :)

It's still too new to have any real world data on what happens if you stop but most people understand that once you start on it, you'll probably be on it forever because you haven't changed your shitty eating habits at all.

As for me, I hate taking pills, even taking my daily vitamin suck dog balls, so ain't no forking way I'd go the Ozempic route when cutting calories and going Paleo works perfectly.

Of course it does. When prices are lowered, the amount of money you get from it is also lowered
I thought we were comparing the number of patients with limp dicks vs. the number of fat people. :)
