Photography can share some of the same/similar dynamics.
However, drawing (or painting) requires a different sort of "intensity", the duration of each pose, the study... which can be a bit like "submission".

I'm glad I was able to squeeze a bit of time today to take some photo reference for a new concept that I had been mulling over.

Many times I will just "conjure" up imagery, but for this there is some tricky material and light that I wanted to look authentic. I don't like to merely reproduce a photo, because that seems rather pointless.

I hope to find some more appropriately sized props tomorrow.

As a poor college student I posed nude for figure drawing classes. One of the most fun as well as worrisome is when a female FWB asked to pose with her for a clas that wanted a man and woman posing together. My worry - becoming aroused while on the stage. It worked out ok and the arousal held off until the appropriate time.
