Have you ever been drawn...

When I traveled more, I would draw people at the airport. Generally, I would would be quite discrete, but on a rare occasion, I might catch a woman's eye, or she mine and there could be a moment or two.

There is an intense sense of "bondage" and control that can happen.
The model is to hold still of her own will.

I've never thought about it this way, I don't think. How ... incredibly fucking hot.

And no, never been drawn, not erotically. (My grandmother was an artist and she did a portrait of me when I was a kid - not exactly what we're talking about, though. Ha)

I got paid. $50 per class to be naked for the art students at the University of South Florida in the late 80's
It did kinda feed my exhibitionist tendancies.

Ditto That

I've drawn and painted nudes many times, it is almost always work and I get consumed by the visual details in the way a good cook zones in on the minutiae of flavours that should perfect a dish. Rarely does the erotic nature of a pose become reality or even a satisfying reality, but the few times it has are pretty memorable. I've been drawn by others a few times but frankly found it very boring, and slightly chilly ;)

When I was into photography, a young lady I knew begged to pose for me. I told her that I didn't have the ability, the proper lighting, etc. But she persisted.

Yes, its work. Intense work, checking the lighting, angles, backdrop, etc. I was very focused and she wanted my full attention and it didn't occur to me the following day what she was really after. (My nerd side won-out and I was a complete dork)

I have been drawn. But more interestingly my legs and butt were caste in bronze.

I have not been drawn (erotically) either, but I do have a charcoal portrait that was done of me when I was about five, I think. Large, perhaps 18x24? My head and shoulders. I am recognizable--my deep-set eyes, button nose, small but soft mouth, and my curly hair spilling over my shoulder. It is soft and flattering, but true, too, I think. I have always liked it very much.

My gaze is serious, as I was understandably shy with the strange man who did the portrait, but my mother was not. She worked at the time in a Mexican restaurant in Southern California, and he was there to draw for the customers on a regular basis, I believe. His signature is easy to read, and I remember it still, by heart.

My great-grandfather had had a long and successful career as a master carpenter back in the day before power tools, and lovingly hand-crafted a frame for the portrait of his oldest great-grandchild. So many memories there, it is one of my most precious possessions.

It can be, under the right circumstances.

In retrospect, I missed quite a few opportunities in my youth for similar reasons.

Hand drawn, painted, crafted items are to be treasured.

I was just recently considering hand writing and mailing letters...
that has been a while.

I've never had the pleasure of being the subject of such a privilege. I've had my caricature drawn at theme parks and those were cute and playful.

I wouldn't mind and probably really enjoy that experience. :)

probably.:)

unless the "artist" was some fat, smelly, greasy, leering creep.

...Did someone call????:D

Not in real life, but I had an "internet friend" a few years back who would do manga-type drawing of pictures I would send him.

Seriously...

I gave an artist a pic of me I wanted him to paint. Never heard from him again.
:catroar:
I would love to be drawn, painted, etched in glass... batiked... all of that.

Hmmm...

sounds shady. Was it?

Was this an "artist" you knew? Someone who had some credentials?

My brother is a rather famous painter, in his old days, now , like me.
I have a portrait of me as11 years old boy, proving my grandson is really my descendant.
Being 8 years older than me he was in art school at the time.
I modelled a lot for him. He made once a death mask of me.
I still remember how the gypsum was drying on my face, paper tubes in my nose...
