How to properly use Literotica's series feature

I'm not sure whether this is the right forum for this topic, but I thought that some of the experienced editors here might also know how to properly make use of the series feature. If there is a better place for my questions, please move this topic there. :)

I recently started writing my first novel Divergent Limit, published the prologue and the first chapter here (chapter 2 pending for a week now), and added them to a series I created (see the link). It took a while until the series got approved, but now it's there. When I click on the individual chapters of the story, though, I don't see any link to the series itself. Is there anything I need to do to make the link under Story Info show up? I would really like it if readers could easily jump to the beginning of the series if they stumble over a later chapter whenever it shows up in the "New Stories"-list.

I looked at some other series for comparison and I noticed that for example on Princess of the Fae - Ch. 6 there is a link to the series, but there isn't one on Princess of the Fae - Ch. 4. It looks like overall, there are links to the Princess of the Fae series on chapters 2, 3, and 6, but not on chapters 1, 4, 5. But all six chapters are listed as part of the series. That tells me I'm not the only one not understanding how this works.

So what does an author need to do to make these links appear? I found nothing on that in the FAQ and I don't see anything in the control panel that I could adjust either.

Thanks to anybody who can help! :)

Maybe try sorting the chapters manually once they're published?

Neither of my series, which are both sorted manually, exhibit this issue, but mine are true stand-alone episodes with a common theme rather than a story broken into pieces and submitted as chapters.

I don't know why this would make a difference other than how the titles might be interpreted by the automated chapter creation process.

These problems all look like bugs. It’s an evident inconsistency between the story pages and the navigation widgets that are shown under each installment.

I would use either the technical issues’ forum or the bug reporting feature in your control panel (under Help and then New Feedback).

Looks like your series got partially handled correctly. (Not the strongest feature of the site.)

Your series displays mostly correctly but indeed each of the stories lacks the 'stacked MSS' icon (indicating it is a part of the whole) and the links at the end to the other connected tales. I suggest a note to Laurel asking for correction.

Your sig-links send one off-site, you might want to make clear your 'my stories' link is not your lit offerings or add a lit stories link, somehow clarify the scene.

I probably should have mentioned that I'm using a manually managed series already. Maybe I'll try updating the description of the series as there seem to be some issues there too. Maybe that will help. Thx!

Ah, first time I've heard of that feedback feature. I'll give that a try, thanks!

Often series features get implemented piecemeal over a few days. The series page might get approved, and have links to at least one of the chapters. But the stories themselves may not yet have the series icon.

I’d wait a day or so more and then contact Laurel, if you need to know how to do this, the following can help:

I don't know if this is really relevant, but my first series seemed to show up in random order even though the chapters looked fine within the series link. Reordering didn't work. I eventually discovered that (once the series is approved) I could remove the stories from the series and adding them back rebuilt the story links correctly. Maybe the same would work here.

(Not deleting the story, obviously, using Stories (beta) -> wheel -> change series to uncompleted -> Series works -> '-' by story until they're all gone, then 'Add Work' and add in order. Even though this changes the series back to pending moderation, the changes took effect immediately. No guarantee this still works the same way.)
