Hello everyone,

Though I have been a regular reader of the site and its content, this is the first time I’m submitting a story. Each time I submit it, it says I’ve tagged it as a true story, but I have not. Neither in the body nor in the description. Could someone please help?

Storey title is: Desires of the Lotus- Part 1
Description is: A conservative wife’s journey when a third joins the mix
Story starts with: Hello Readers,
What I’m about to share is a fiction narrated from my husband’s perspective. A life shaped by desire, discovery, and unexpected turns that led my hubby and me into a world I never imagined we’d explore. This series will chronicle that transformation—from our awkward beginnings to times that changed everything, when Mini (myself) the shy girl who is married, became the woman who shared herself with hubby and another person. So here it goes:

Thanks for the response

I suspect the quick skim (by software or Laurel, we don't know) caught "what I'm about to share is ... narrated... husband's perspective" and missed the word fiction, or didn't believe it.

I'd resubmit with a note in the Notes field, confirming that this is fiction and that your first line confirms that.

Resubmit, with a clear explanation. That should do it. Make it clear that the story does not reveal the real names or details of real people's lives. It's fiction.

I think all of the excuses are BS. I tried to submit a story when I first signed on to literotica. I clearly said that my story was a work of fiction and all characters were adults over the age of 21 but the checker claimed it was either a true story or had minors in it. The story was about two adults and as I said a work of fiction. I don't even try to post stories because of that.

If you give up that easily, why complain? Tens of thousands of writers get their stories published here on Lit, and who really knows whether they're truth or fiction.

I was just frustrated because of the bullshit. If I remember correctly back then I couldn't submit another story until I fixed the one that got rejected. But I just went back to it today and resubmitted it to see if it gets published.
