I'm back, even if you didn't know I was missing

I'm back, but probably none of you even knew I was gone. I can tell when I'm not missed. The story of my life.

Well, anyway, I'm back.

I thought of you today, DVS, while at an electro play demonstration!

Welcome back, are you doing okay?
Yes, I'm fine, but my profile was sick. For about a month, the Lit system was confused and I couldn't post. Something in my profile got glitched. Talk about withdrawal.

But because of a few very nice ladies here, I've been saved from posting oblivion.

I missed you here.

I'm sure others did as well.

Ah, one of my saviors! You know...it really got close to me never posting again. I've been DVS for too long to have to post as somebody else.

I missed reading you as well. Hope life has been kind to you.

I've missed writing as well. I'd like to get back to that, but that well seems to be dry. Not really dry, but my creative thoughts have been going to different places. I've thought about it, but that's just about as close as I've come.

Well, I've changed everything on my end and my new email address is working. Everything on Lit's end is back up and running, so I guess I'm officially back. Yes, before this very moment I was only unofficially back.

So, maybe a celebration is in order? Dancing bears and bound naked women seems appropriate. And I guess we should have a few people in charge of keeping the bears from molesting the women. The bears might mistaken them for dinner and that would be a totally different kind of event.

Thought you'd find that nostalgic. I did. It was the first thing I thought of when contemplating dancing bears.

:rose:

Well...a bear that's dancing, this is true. I kind of envisioned the real thing. This guy is from my childhood. Although I'd guess a different guy is inside the costume, because when I saw him, it was in the late '50s, early '60s and the screen was black and white. OK, I can accept it...I'm old.

Pfft, we wouldn't have let that happen!

DVS! :rose:

I had noticed your absence, though honestly it seemed like it's been longer than a month.

Well, nostalgia is the same as old, isn't it? If you happen to think something is nostalgic, you have to be old...or getting there.

Another one of my saviors! You have lasting power and patience in such things. I don't know what actually happened, but the Lit system just decided it didn't like my email address.

Now my ISP has FINALLY validated my new address and I have everything working again. Just creating another address, setting it up in my email program so I can receive it at home and then getting validated by my ISP and all, it's a chore. I've done it before, but there has been enough time in-between that the process has changed. It's like learning how it's done all over again.

But, I'm all healthy again, and back in business. Thanks.

I've told others, but it is nice that you noticed I wasn't around. And it seemed longer to me, too. Does absence make the heart grow fonder? Maybe it does.
