But the CUBS love you dearly, Dr. M.

Tell me about it. The last time I stuck my head up out of my trench of apathy was in time for the National League playoffs with the Marlins last year.

The Cubs never fail to break you heart, even when you don't give a damn.

Hon, I think it has more to do with you being the most polite young man in England. But what does "Pimms o'clock" mean?

Auntie Pear

Pimms is infamous in England for being a drink that is drunk by chinless wonders (v. v. posh people) and recently they've been pushing this image in an attempt to make it kitsch. It's worked, so much so that "Pimms o'clock," which is a phrase used by the posh bloke in the TV advertisement, has entered the slang vocabulary to describe someone with a very "What ho" and plummy accent.

Earlboy, while I have you on the line, who is Murdock? Cute, I must say, and a good image for the real you.

M'thinks I'll have to try some Pimms.
