No, the issue is that Trump withheld authorized funds to pressure Ukraine to start an investigation into Biden, a political opponent. In fact, as has been reported Trump really only wanted the announcement of an investigation.

Also, supporting this is that Trump's greater behavior indicates he could really care less about corruption in Ukraine. For example, if he was he would not have disparaged and fired the ambassador, who was actually actively putting pressure on Ukraine to do something about corruption there.

I don't really care if the Bidens get called to testify, I just think it would be a fishing expedition. Hunter got paid stupid money because he was a Biden and helped make a sketchy company appear more legitimate and maybe they also hoped for some introductions. If that's worth investigating, fine.

If he was actually concerned about corruption he wouldn't have fired an ambassador who was actually on the field pushing Ukraine to fight corruption. Burisma was probably hoping that pressure would ease since daddy was dealing with Ukraine and corruption. Explain why not, Biden did it. Trump as president runs foreign policy, leveraging political advantage is not in play here, investigation into corruption is. Main stream media has a way of disguising it’s intent to deceive the people. Because the word corruption wasn’t used in the conversation with Zelensky the media decided to accuse Trump of digging dirt on Biden to interfere with 2020 elections, a ruse to formulate a conduit for impeachment. Why do you think every republican is against it. You can’t possibly believe that every republican is anti American and would put Trump over country. Impeachment without statutory relevance, failure to cite one criminal violation in the articles of impeachment.
