Russia did meddle. They've been doing that since Kennedy though. For some weird reason, we made a big stink this time around. If I was missing them I would care....

The Democrat party wants to obstruct the President in the performance of his duties, no matter the cost to the country in terms of dollars, economic stability, civil unrest or even lives.

I am not going to deny the above with some Democrats, those that were on record early in Trumps term. Still it was not the whole party, some leaders were on record, (back in the beginning) stating they would try and work with Trump.

Now however the Democrats are pushing, and I think rightly so. I have no doubt Trump was trying to do a deal with Ukraine to get dirt on his political opponents.

So the way forward is two fold, ( if impeachment pass's out of the house) there could be a real Senate Trial, calling those who were subpoenaed but not allowed to appear, by Trump. Or it can be a straight up vote to acquit Trump with no trial.

Just remember at sometime there is going to be another person in the oval office,and something similar may occur, this one will set that one's precedent.
Think about it.

Now lets put this out there too, I don't think Trump was ever in coordination with the Russians during the election campaign, however his election team was stupid enough to try and get information from Russia, when it was offered, instead of reporting it to the FBI, they decide to accept it. They got caught, leading to the whole Muller investigation, which I again think was Trumps own fuck up, since he was to politically ignorant of how things work. Decide to fire Comey ( note I think Comey was a fuck up too btw), do a TV interview and say something to the effect " I was thinking of the Russian thing and decided to fire him". Landing his ass into the fire he was trying to avoid.

Both families have been involved in politics for decades. The 16 years was a reference to Bill Clinton's two terms and Obama's two terms.
