Kentucky Roll Call

Now Spenser, think positive....it may not have much traffic, but it is still getting new visitors.

It might just be my bubbly personality ;) ....or pure willpower...:rose:

Umm, Gigi ... I just keep coming back to look at your avatar. :cattail:

Whooo Hooo FRIDAY !!!!
I hope everyone is looking forward to some fun this weekend (despite the dreary weather).

When I went to bed last night, it was still raining pretty hard. When I woke up, still raining pretty hard. On the way to work, about the same. Really didn't think it was ever gonna stop coming down! But it got pretty nice as the day went on. This weekend's looking OK...

Hey all. Been a member of the MI thread like this for a while now and stumbled upon this one. Thought I'd stop in and say hi.

Almost 31 single guy. Moving to the Lexington area soon...not sure where and it is up in the air a bit but should be at least "sort of" a resident of the area within a month or so.

Congrats on getting to move to God's country :D
I have lived all over the US and like it here in KY better than anywhere else. :)

Thanks. Buddy of mine from the Marines is from the area and has been yammering at me to move down there for years. Some parts of my life have/are changed/ing lately and I really have no reason to NOT do it now. Seems like everything is better down there anyways.

Well, I hope you find what you seek. Of course things are what you make of them. I have lived here about 18 years, and still do not think of it as home. But recently I have finally felt more welcome in the area.

(Oh and by the way, I do have a soft spot for Marines, even though I was in the Army.) :rose:

Hahaha, thanks. We seem to do that with the females of the species.

I've lived in Northern Michigan for over 5 years now and regret practically every day of it. I loved SoCal and my hometown in West Michigan but there's just no chance of me making it in either.
When I visit the south things seem a lot more pleasent and just well...to completely sound trite...better. Just sick of the winters and the bad economy and the horrible job market and bah! I'm moving south to start over. Might take a detour for a while but Kentucky is coming!

Well, we shall be waiting for you! :rose:

Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the cool weather. I know I have been! ;)

The cool has been good, the rain is getting to be a bit much though. Much more and a boat becomes necessary

I understand that thought completely. I have even asked a friend of mine if he had started making an ark yet, as we may need some rescuing.

I hope everyone has a great week!:rose:

Just be glad you're not up here. At least 10 degrees colder and at least as much rain. Blech!

Eager to get gone from here, I'll be in Kentucky to at least look around 2 weeks from now.

Happy Hump Day Everyone!

Is there still anyone around? Been a little quiet lately.....

In Kentucky? No. Around here? Yes.

Howdy all. Hope your weather is better than mine.

Weather is getting cooler but not quite COLD yet....by the time you get hear, the leaves should really be starting to turn....:rose:

I keep hearing that. Seems like I'll be a few weeks ahead of you guys while I'm up north.

As long as Kentucky doesn't start getting feet of snow overnight...or at all...I'll be fine.

Just realized I'll be down there for a while in a little over a week.

Aaaahhh... a lovely crisp day in Lexington!!

A wonderful weekend ahead... Kings of Leon at Rupp on Saturday... HUSKERS play today
