I'm saying that right now Joe Biden and his administration in their sending massive amounts of funding to a very rich county with decent, warm weather so people aren't going to freeze to death tonight and a county that has wealth to spare to help that situation and provide their own resources, all because the vice president and the president's son have houses there, that proves them to be corrupt. All while they continue to ignore the Appalachian people and the areas of North Carolina that were most drastically affected by the tragedy there because it's politically inconvenient to acknowledge the disaster they made of that.

8 years and one month ago today, a similar wildfire broke out in the mountains near Gatlinburg Tennessee.


The governor, mayor and fire chief were all white heterosexual males, so there was no blame shifting or soapboxing about "DEI".
Residential fire hydrants were inadequate to keep the blaze from spreading (side note: residential fire hydrants have NEVER been the primary defense against wildfires, but you knew that).

What is happening is that they're formulating a process in which the federal aid monies will go directly to the citizen cutting the state and city out of the loop altogether. Any relief that the state of city may get will have SERIOUS strings attached, benchmarks and oversight. It's obvious to everyone that neither the state nor the city are fiscally responsible and can't be trusted to manage any monies.
