As with any limit-play, it can be astonishingly hot, yet very very risky. It's been said so often it's almost become a joke except that it's true that communication is so very important.

The gotcha here is that at the very edges you often get to areas where conscious thought doesn't always drive reactions, so getting to the emotional response is at least as important as the conscious reaction. This can be a challenge, depending on the personalities.

Emotional exhibitionists are among the easiest to learn about, but they're rare as hen's teeth. Physical exhibitionists are much, much more common - at least in my somewhat limited experience. Half-jokingly, the difference between the two types is the first 'wears their heart on their sleeve', the second slips out of their sleeves at the drop of a hat.

[There're also intellectual exhibitionists who get off on not censoring their thinking, often especially when discussing their fantasies. In some ways you can consider almost anyone posting here as at least a little bit of an intellectual exhibitionist]

All that being said, playing with almost any limits can be HOT HOT HOT, in part due to the danger of slipping too far over the edge, IMO.

Yes, to this.

Public nudity in a public place, is not only a hard limit but also highly illegal and can get you arrested, and your name added to The Registry (and you really don't want your name on that registry. A lot of bad people are on there. It fucks up your life.)

In SOME areas, certain beaches that are considered clothing optional by local custom (for example) or rural or natural areas with few people around, that's different- but being forced to undress in the middle of a busy public square, street, or place of business, well, that's not gonna work.

I never thought I was an exhibitionist. I was actually very modest and tried to keep myself covered to not be embarrassed I guess. I never really thought about my motives, I just felt safer, better, I guess, if I was covered up around people. But early on I was made to get naked in front of clothed people and it really turned a switch in me that was very arousing. I was ashamed of it and tried to hide it but I can't deny that it was very exciting to me. Later I got over the hesitations and enjoyed it a lot more. Early on it was very hard to do. So I was pushed this way and I enjoyed it.

In my understanding, the word itself, exhibitionism suggests that there can be no limit. But at what stage you feel comfortable, this is another question. I just know my limit, which I will probably never go beyond. Of course, if this concept itself does not turn into a life principle with a real earning of means of subsistence, which is extremely unlikely. How does this happen in the porn industry. For people involved in this process, exhibitionism is a job. And I suspect there are no limits. It is just a job. And any work is addictive, and the weakening of interest. So I'm beyond the limits that I myself can regulate.

My wife and I think that the desire to be exhibitionist is spawned from social pressure to hide the human body. We are the only species on the planet with such a mental health issue about nudity. The fact that most societies even have laws about it shows how insane the human race is about sex. We both love the feeling of freedom we get from visiting nude beaches. We don't think of it as exhibitionism but it is a wonderful natural feeling of freedom. Shelly had her pubic hair removed with laser treatment except for a little heart-shaped patch. She loves it when guys on the beach start conversations with her about her "heart." It is a wonderful sense of being free from the shackles of a mentally ill society to be able to stand on the beach naked and have a guy looking right at her pussy and talking openly about it.

Oh, I definitely want to be tested. I have begged my wife to push me to the limit.
I have told her, I will do anything she wants, any time, anywhere, as long as I/we don't end up in jail. She has exhibitionist tendencies also but, she is becoming more conservative and I am going the opposite direction.

Regarding public nudity and the common sense of choosing time and place. I've had some experience with "semi public" sex which meant that we were careful to be in a location like a car but also in a place with very low vehicle or foot traffic. Also, sex on a hotel balcony high enough that you "could" be seen from the street but pretty unlikely. The "risk" is a rush but don't be stupid enough to get caught. Jail and sex offender registry are not good ideas.
