I passed 50K in of all places a sex scene. Now there are VERY few sex scenes, but the sex scene where the 2 star crossed loves get together, even though they can never be together, yep that was the 50K moment.

Not sure how much more there is to write but I hope to be finished finished by Tuesday

Woo hoo we already have 3 people over 50K, AND another few who are close.

Would you believe we have more over 50K people on this thread than my region in NaNo?

Alot of people come from behind and finish this puppy, but these few days before thanksgiving in the US can really help. No one REALLY expects any work to be done this time of year, so you can sneak more writing time into your day.

If for the Next 4 days you hit 3K words, thats 12K more, that puts everyone in the 20s well into the 40s and with a nice easy breeze to the finish.

Relatives bothering you on Thursday? Run and hide, blame your evil prof or your evil boss, but if you can hid for another 3K on turkey day, BOOM! thats 15 K between now and then!

OK I'm being annoying cheerleader. And svenska, it's cold outside, wouldn't you really rather be writing Play sick you can do it!

Your annoying cheerleader signing off, it is time for my family to get clean clothes. Well dishes were 1st on the post 50K list, and now clothes. My husband doesn't have a thing to wear to work tomorrow and in the 30K word count I already decided ordering more clothes for him online was easier than washing.... so I -really- had better do a few loads of laundry.

It was the chapter I was dreading the most - the qualification contest. I couldn't picture it in my head, which is why I've been postponing it a bit. But once I drew the obstacle course, I had something to work from, and 1.945 words oozed down on the paper. Hurray for action scenes, they get a lot of words out!
