I have decimated and laid waste to the 30k barrier. Happiness is mine.

Only 10 000 left. Holy fart, I think I'm gonna make it.

I've got a title now:

The Beginner's Guide To Apathy

If I ever get around to translate more than the title into Anglo-saxon lingo, I'll let you know.

You got it!

10K is NOTHING to blow through, a couple good days and you have it wrapped up and in the bag!

24,527. first 2000 word day I've had since returning from Milwaukee. Hopefully a new start and progress towards catching up...

You can do it! ...Well, hopefully. ;)

:p

Don't worry, Crim, i won't either. Doesn't matter, though. It's the effort that counts. :)

I've calculated my word count, and if I write 2.900 words a day, I can make it!

I have 1.937 words left today...

All you have to do it hit your stride. You know what you're writing, just hit that stride in the 20s and those words will flow.

At 21K my words just went VOOM and I started having some 4 or 5 K day I know you can do it. You know what you're writing, just trust yourself and do it!

Okay, I broke through the 25,000 mark. Only 6 days behind.

The second half is easier than the first, you got everything started, you know where you're going by now, that means you can start cranking out the words.

The weather is freaking horrid, better to write than do anything else :)

Except this was the EASY part. Now I need to figure out how they're gonna nail the bad guy, and I don't know that yet! My synopsis only says "and then she finds something that proves that he did something".

Then again, my characters are helping me out in ways I didn't expect. Today, I was only going to write the sentence "and he left to collect his money, and then he came back, and they left", but all of a sudden, I had 5 pages of babbling and tickling and depression and threats and giggling...

MAN, my characters are a talkative bunch!!!

Obviously I'm WAY TOO LATE to participate this year,
but is there somewhere I can read more about this?

Sounds SO exciting & quite challenging...
would really love to learn more!

10,500

I will be quite happy with 500 words/day for the remainder of this week ... and 2,000 daily next week ... which would end the month at 19,500. *sigh* That's even below my 20,000 word pess-timate.
