Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I couldn’t see a missed connections thread anywhere.
I’m looking for two stories on Literotuca that I read a while ago and cannot find anywhere using the search function. I’m not sure if that means they’ve been taken down or if I’m missing them some other way. Either way, I thought I would come here and see if anyone recognized the stories and happened to have them saved or knew the titles.
The first story is one I read a couple of years ago. It’s an erotic horror/nonhuman/noncon story, but I’m not sure which category it was in. It’s about a woman who moves into a house that she’s either inheriting from someone or she got for cheap. There’s a tentacle monster living in the house that she’s terrified of at first, but he also starts appearing as an attractive man in her dreams and they begin to fall for each other. Over the course of the story, it’s revealed that the monster is very old and very powerful, but was weakened by a wizard or something and is now stuck in this house, recovering his strength. Some other characters show up. I think there’s a werewolf and some witches who give the MC more exposition. The MC ends up retrieving the monster’s lost power and he is finally able to be a sexy man in the real world and they live happily ever after, I guess.
Other details: there was something about someone eating things out of the garbage, or like, a chicken carcass that the MC had put in the fridge to use for soup. I can’t remember if the werewolf was eating it or the tentacle monster.
There was also strange instructions left for the MC by the previous owner of the house. One was to not disturb the flowers planted in front (they turn out to be magically warding the house or something) and another was to leave a box or something, I think in the cupboard above the fridge. It was also relevant to the plot, but I don’t remember why.
I’m a lot fuzzier on the details of the other story, since I read it about a decade ago and have been looking for it ever since. I have less hope that I’ll find it, but I figure it’s worth a shot.
This one was sci fi/fantasy/noncon but I can’t remember which category it was in and I also can’t remember if it was more of a sci fi setting or a fantasy setting.
The MC was a woman whose country had been conquered by a neighbouring empire. The empire gave big Roman Empire energy, if I recall. Her people are largely enslaved, but she’s managed to avoid being captured for like, three years by hiding in the woods.
She’s finally captured and becomes enslaved to a powerful military guy. They put like, mind-control collars on the slaves, and they definitely do something, but I can’t quite remember what. I do know that the MC and her captor have a very slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance. When I was reading it, all but the last chapter or two had been uploaded and I remember the last chapter I read had a very dramatic scene where the MC was on trial? I think? And military guy had to save her.
The story was fairly long from what I recall.
Other details: I remember a bath scene and I think the MC meets other slaves there.
When the MC is being captured in the beginning of the story, I think one of the soldiers who catch her call her ‘wildcat’ or something like that. Maybe ‘feisty’.
There was another story that I found while I was looking for this one that was similar enough to it that I thought I was going crazy for a second before I manage to rule it out. Only now I can’t find that one either, so maybe I am going crazy.
