Vance and Musk question the authority of the courts as Trump’s agenda faces legal pushback

Over the past 24 hours, officials ranging from billionaire Elon Musk to Vice President JD Vance have not only criticized a federal judge’s decision early Saturday that blocks Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency from accessing Treasury Department records, but have also attacked the legitimacy of judicial oversight, a fundamental pillar of American democracy, which is based on the separation of powers.

And Musk publicly lashes out at anyone who stands up for the law:

“A corrupt judge protecting corruption. He needs to be impeached NOW!” said Musk.

The Constitution and the separation of powers stand in the way of autocracy, so MAGAs oppose both.

- was the kennedy election purchased?
- was the kennedy assassination a coup?
- was the nixon re-election a coup?
- was the bush election over gore a coup?
- was the 2020 election stolen?
- was the 2024 election a coup in elected clothing?

I find it interesting to hear the two messages, which are in opposition to each other, be squared by the base.

No DEI hiring, meeit based employment .

Also

Firings based on political orientation

You don't understand a thing about the separation of powers clause. If you did you'd be condemning those two left-wing judges who just violated it. Musk is a federal employee with a top-secret clearance carrying out the orders of the duly elected President. He is a staff member to the President who has plenary powers under the Constitution to operate and manage the executive branch of government. No inferior federal court judge has the legal right to order the President or the Secretary of the Treasury to cease their management of the treasury, or any federal agency.

The judge has that right if Congress says so. Only judges get to authoritatively interpret the law.

When the executive fails to follow the law, they are checked.

While the executive can make org changes and staff changes etc. They have to follow the law when doing so.

If they would have given proper notice to Congress, as required by law, these lawsuits would have less weight. Instead, they skipped several steps and tore through the agencies.

Imo - they did so precisely to avoid any court intervention....rough shot across the government to get as much as they could.

Now the courts will slow them down and force them to make changes as they should and as their branch is set up to do.

If anyone in Congress had a spine, there would be even more resistance.

You don't know shit. Trump has broken no law. Those two judges will be reversed. They are wrong and they know it.

Congress cannot pass any law that violates the Constitution's supremacy clause, or any other of the 300 or 400 clauses, depending on how they are categorized.

He has broken several law, law, hence the several lawsuits

Possibly.
Name'em. These suits will be reversed through lack of judicial authority and no standing on the part of the Plaintiffs. Understand this New York order was issued at 1:30 am in the morning, Ex Parte, the only people attending are the leftwing lawyers, the defendants were not even notified of the hearing. Typical lawfare by extreme leftist judges and attorneys. They should removed from the bench for violating Art III, 'The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour," it doesn't say a word about impeachment either. Especially where their objectionable behavior may not rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors.

There are several lawsuits that you can peruse for yourself. Many EOs have been paused or frozen during the suits.

The courts will decide. The President is required to follow the law when reorganizing government or firing certain personnel. Most of it is just paperwork. Many is just advance notice and reasoning.

Political firings are likely to come under scrutiny by the courts as well.

The President is not a king.

They've been packing the courts with Federalist Society picks to make sure everything goes their way -- but it appears even that is not quite enough.
Those judges are going to get their pee pees smacked hard in due time. Federal judges that can be counted on to challenge the president should be impeached. Another two years of Schoomzer and Peloser/Evil Eyes Hakeem and Johnson and Tule will have a method of impeachMENT that will make Nancy blush with envy.

If they knew it they would have ruled differently. We give judges lifetime appointments so their minds will work that way, insulated from political pressure.
