shenandoah, virginia has some great views for autumn colors, but that's a long drive from bmore

great falls.
there's a nice hike there along the potomac river, and there's a wooden bridge with an awesome view of the rapids

Patapsco State Park is close and has some nice places. Lots of different entrances. Not sure if the leaves are great yet, but it is close.

Stanford Grill, Victoria Gastro Pub, Iron Bridge Wine are my faves if you're looking for a date night out...a little pricier, but delicious and great atmosphere.

AleHouse, Victoria, and Frisco are good for brews and food, as well.

Are you looking for a specific type of food or atmosphere?

If you are looking for good Chinese food Asian Bistro and Hunan Legends are my favorites.
