Maryland is for lovers?

New Lara Croft or old Lara croft....cuz "Old" Lara....I don't know how she ever ran around....

New Lara Croft. Old Lara is more appropriate for summer, while New Lara is good for fall/winter. Not that Maryland knows the difference these past few days.

Very true. Another week of the 70s coming up...I really don't like it, too muggy for the fall.

Yeah, I'd love it if nature could just make up its mind about the weather being hot or cold. This is the perfect weather to get sick in.

Today was amazing! I only wish I'd known sooner so I could get out of work and enjoy it!

I'm sick right now, and I think I'd rather not be sick during any time of the year. 😓 I have 2 wads of tissues in the shape of a badminton shuttlecock stuffed up my nose right now. 😷😷

Awwwh, I'm so sorry that you're sick! Being sick is the absolute worst. :( Get well soon!

Anyone know of a good restaurant that will be open for dinner on Thanksgiving in the Baltimore area? Or even Christmas? I have to work on Thanksgiving but luckily got the approval to have Christmas off. I *might* be going to my friends for turkey day but she will be out of town on Christmas so I will be on my own that day.

depends on what kind of food you like.

I'm not a huge fan of American Chinese food, anyway. I know there used to be a good traditional Chinese restaurant off Pennsylvania in DC, but it's been years since I ate there.

Most (not all) American food, in general, is just so whatever to me. American-Chinese food is just American food to me. I'd prefer Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Mediterranian, or Mexican way more.

mexican food rawks

What kind of food are you looking for? We can narrow it down from there.

I am not very adventurous in the food department so Chinese or Chinese American or American food would be good.

Any one going to the monument lighting ? I have been told its fun

 Oh my god, c'mon now. Do you want to come with me to do some 'adventurous' eating? It really isn't that adventurous. I wouldn't go out eating ox eyes and mammoth hair puree or some bizarre stuff. I like soup (ramen, pho, sundubu, pozole) type dishes from different cultures around this time of year. Makes me feel cozy inside. American-Chinese food places are all over the place.
