My cure

I feel so sorry for all of you with the cold and flu! They are miserable. I haven't (knock on wood) been sick for several years, but when I do this is my cure:

Wrap yourself in multiple blankets, soak your feet in hot water, and drink hot lemonade....it will sweat it out of you.

But the best cure, (please be aware I hardly ever drink) is buy a pint of Sourthern Comfort and polish it off in one evening straight, no mixers (mixers will give you a hang over). The first couple of swallows burn the heck out of your throat, but then it goes down nice and easy after that. It will knock those little virus bugs right on thier behinds.
