But being new (I feel the angry glares already) I don't have any pictoral representation yet I do have pictures I'd like to post on here until I get avatar status. But I don't have any idea how to get one of those links either in my signature or to upload on on here period. Any help would be appreciated thanks.:D

I'm not sure how you got the idea that people here might jump down your throat simply because you don't have an avatar yet or because you're asking a question about how to use the Literotica features. Anyway, the people who frequent the How To forum are among the nicest and most helpful so you'll get plenty of help and support here just for the asking.

First off, you will get to put up an avatar only after you have posted 100 times. When you reach that point, go to your control panel, click on edit options and at the bottom of the page click on change avatar. Then you can upload any image you choose (please, no copyrighted images) so long as it meets the size standards.

As for posting pictures, it's as easy as completing the "attach file" field at the bottom of the posting window. The Amateur Picture Feedback forum is a great place for this, if you're interested in showing pictures of yourself.

Enjoy, and welcome to Lit.

Welcome Caramel! Just an addition to Kissophile's advice (though I'm sure someone other than me can give you better instructions)... If you want pics/images in your signature line, you can use HTML/vB code, just like you would in your posts. I believe images have to be hosted somewhere else on the web, as opposed to your computer. So if you want to put a pic of yourself, you can post it in the Amateur Pics board, and create a link to it in your signature line.
If you want to link to a webpage, use (take out the stars): [*URL=http://www.the webpage.com] YOUR TEXT HERE[/URL*]

For an image: [*IMG]http://www.where the image is located.com[/IMG*]

Hope that helps a little!

A million thanks to you both. I know how certain people can have serious disdain for "newbs" to their site. I appreciate the information and look forward to chewing the proverbial fat with you all in other threads. Thanks again.:D

I was thinking the same thing - on this board, newbies are generally welcomed by the friendly people here. So don't worry - just have fun and don't be shy.
